Former Germany international Jurgen Klinsmann has suggested that England may want to pick Jadon Sancho, who you will most likely know is something of a big deal in the Bundesliga, having excelled at Borussia Dortmund (although possibly not for much longer).

Here is what he had to say in his column for the BBC Sport website...

"Everyone in Germany is surprised Jadon Sancho has not had more game-time for England at Euro 2020 - but they don't want to see that change on Tuesday.

"Sancho is huge in Germany because of what he has done with Borussia Dortmund, and is seen as a big star in the Bundesliga - he is only 21 but he has been spectacular for the past few seasons.

"Another young England player at Dortmund, Jude Bellingham, is rated very highly too, but he is a different kind of player.

"It is Sancho that Germany would fear at Wembley - if he plays. They know how good he is."

To that end, and ahead of the official announcement, what XI do we think Gareth Southgate is going to field this afternoon?

It has been the topic of some debate in the build-up, with 3-4-3 the expected formation, representing a switch away from the four at the back that the coach has favoured in this tournament so far.

It's not alien to England, though. They have played a three before under Southgate.

Questions remain...

Kyle Walker as one of the three? Kalvin Phillips and Declan Rice as the central midfield two? Bukayo Saka keeping his place? Mason Mount? Jack Grealish?

What has been has been, what is gone is gone. The present is what matters and in just under two hours' time England will take on Germany for a place in the quarter-finals of Euro 2020.

There is no point pretending this is just an ordinary game against another international team. It's not. But That doesn't mean we need to be mired in the past, continually rubber-necking at the high and numerous lows of years ago.

Time to seize the moment.
