Artem Besedin is gingerly making his way around the outside of the Hampden pitch with an ice pack the size of my fridge freezer strapped to his leg. He may just about make it to the dug out before midnight with a chorus of applause greeting him on his journey.

A perfectly-timed run from Kulusevski sets him free on goal, with a last-ditch tackle from Karavaev snuffing out the danger. That could have been curtains for the Ukrainians.

Again, it's the Ukrainians making the noise. This time, it's chants for their manager, the legendary Andriy Shevchenko, to effectively give them a wave. He does, and they go bonkers.

His team look content to get to extra time at this rate. Quite incredible we've not had a goal in this second half.

A quick glance around Hampden and a small trickle of people seem to think it's all over. It's not a group game, folks...
