Call me psychic, but I'm going to say the pre-match ceremony consists of three giant flags and a lot of people holding them on a pitch.

  2. 'England clear favourites in this side of the draw'

    Sweden v Ukraine (20:00)

    Pat Nevin

Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Quote Message: There are no easy games but England are the clear favourites in this side of the draw. It's incredibly exciting for all of the teams left

Two minutes until the pre-match ceremony starts. Appreciate the excitement may be too much for you, but stick with us...

This is my fourth game at Hampden here this Euros, and for each one the official Euro 2020 DJ has been here. Either he really loves a pizza crunch, or there is more than one Euro 2020 DJ...

  7. Lawro's prediction

    Sweden v Ukraine (20:00)

    Mark Lawrenson

    BBC football expert

Quote Message: Alexander Isak has been bright in Sweden's attack, while Ukraine's best moments at Euro 2020 came after they went 2-0 down to the Dutch, and even then they ended up losing 3-2. I'm going with Sweden, but this is knockout football. Prediction: 1-0

  12. Ukraine's path to Glasgow

    Sweden v Ukraine (20:00)

While Sweden enjoyed a fairly smooth approach to Glasgow, Ukraine's journey was far from straightforward.

Andriy Shevchenko's team only just managed to qualify for the last 16, squeezing out of the groups by claiming the last best third-place spot with just three points a goal difference of -1.

Indeed, just a win over a North Macedonian side ranked 62nd in the world was needed to secure progress, with a defeat either side.

  13. Sweden's route to Hampden

    Sweden v Ukraine (20:00)

Sweden come into this last-16 tie as victors of Group E while remaining undefeated.

It was a slow start to their campaign with a draw against a stuttering Spanish side, but victories over Slovakia and Poland ensured their safe progression.

Sweden's best ever finish at a Euros came in 1992 when, as hosts, they reached the semi-finals. Do the business today and that milestone is just one game away.

  14. Hello from Benidorm

    Sweden v Ukraine (20:00)

Well, it certainly feels like it.

The sun may be setting on Hampden's hosting at this summer's Euros, but my word, the unfamiliar big yellow ball in the sky is keeping things roasty toasty in Glasgow.

The mercury has soared across Scotland's biggest city today, hopefully we get a match between Sweden and Ukraine befitting of such a glorious setting.

I'll be guiding you through all the action from a rather lofty - and mercifully shaded - perch at the back of the Hampden main stand. Who will be England's quarter-final date?
