  4. CLOSE!

    Sweden 0-0 Ukraine

This is opening up to be a tasty tie.

Sweden take their turn. Great interplay on the right unlocks space for Kulusevski. He checkes back on to his left, whips in a delicious ball on to the head of Forsberg, but he can't adjust his body to keep his header down.

Moments later, Isak cuts in on his right foot but bends a shot a couple of yards wide of the far post. He should have done much better.

    Is a goal coming?

Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Quote Message: Every Swedish defender was looking for an offside flag and it didn’t come
  7. CLOSE!

    Sweden 0-0 Ukraine

From nowhere, Ukraine almost take the lead. A sweeping move down the right sees the ball find its way to Yaremchuk with the Swedish defence static, and his low shot forces Olsen into a diving save low to his right.

  8. Post update

    Sweden 0-0 Ukraine

    Martin Keown

Former England defender on BBC One

Quote Message: We talked about whether Sweden had an appetite to attack, it looks like it to me.
  9. Sweden turning up the heat

    Sweden 0-0 Ukraine

Ukraine living dangerously already. Sweden make great use of the overload on the left, leading to a bombardment of the Ukraine box. The team in blue buzz about frantically while trying to clear, with Kulusevski's shot eventually forcing a corner.

  10. Post update

    Sweden 0-0 Ukraine

    Martin Keown

Former England defender on BBC One

Quote Message: Sweden look very compact in their 4-4-2, a formation they have used in the tournament to great success so far.
  11. Post update

    Sweden 0-0 Ukraine

Not a lot to report apart from some rather impressive synchronised clapping from the Ukrainians in Hampden.

Sweden are knocking the ball about well, with Forsberg already looking a threat. Bubbling nicely.

  12. KICK-OFF

Right Sweden and Ukraine, let's be having you...

  13. Stat attack

    Sweden v Ukraine (20:00)

Sebastian Larsson, 36, is the oldest Swedish player to start in a knockout game at a major tournament since 37-year-old Gunnar Glen featured in the 1958 World Cup final.

  14. Thumb of approval

    Sweden v Ukraine (20:00)

Lots of colour and noise for both national anthems here. Hampden a sea of yellow across its stands.

Who will be winning tonight? Get those thumbs working. Thumbs up for Sweden, thumbs down for Ukraine

  15. And it was all yellow...

    Sweden v Ukraine (20:00)

Doing my best Ted Lowe, for those of you watching and reading in black and white, Ukraine are in the blue.

  16. Post update

Referee Daniel Orsata from Italy and his team are in the tunnel, bright pink, looking like three highlighter pens. Our teams are ready to go. Are you ready?

  17. Ron Burgundy backing Sweden

Hollywood star Will Ferrell is buzzing for the big game and it looks like his Swedish wife has been helping with the cue cards...

  19. Team news

    Sweden v Ukraine (20:00)

Sweden boss Janne Andersson has made just one change to the side that beat Poland in their final group game.

Juventus' Dejan Kulusevski is the man that comes into the attack in place of Robin Quaison.

As for Ukraine, Andriy Shevchenko makes two changes as Vitaliy Mykolenko and Ruslan Malinovskiy make way for Serhiy Kryvtsov and Taras Stepanenko.

    Yep, thought as much.

Call me a traditionalist, but give me Diana Ross and a set of splitting goal posts any day of the week.
