There's no question that's a red card for Marc McNulty looking at it again. There's no question that he can put his foot elsewhere

  2. CLOSE!published at 28 mins

    Hibernian 0-0 Hearts

How good is Martin Boyle? Seriously?

An absolute pearler of a ball across the six-yard box, but none of his strikers are there to meet it. He looks bewildered that at least one of his two front men isn't lurking in there.

Marc McNulty is a very lucky boy to still be on the pitch. Sean Clare was face down on the ground and McNulty stands on his back to lever himself away. He's very lucky that it's been missed by the officials but it wouldn't surprise me if that is looked at by the compliance officer

On the best chance so far...

It's a top save from Ofir Marciano. I'm expecting the net to bulge there

  6. YELLOW CARD - Craig Halkett (Hearts)published at 20 mins

    Hibernian 0-0 Hearts

Hearts captain Halkett is booked for tugging back Christian Doidge. Hibs have a free-kick on the edge of the area, but again Scott Allan's delivery isn't up to much. Zdenek Zlamal punches the ball clear.

  7. goal

GOAL Inverness Caledonian Thistle 1-0 Greenock Mortonpublished at 20:05 Greenwich Mean Time 3 March 2020

    Jordan White

Jordan White heads Caley Thistle into the lead against in-form Morton, set up by Tom Walsh.

The home side looking to consolidate in second place in the Championship.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 19 mins

    Hibernian 0-0 Hearts

Ofir Marciano has pulled a phenomenal save out of the bag here! A brilliant delivery sets up Craig Halkett to bullet a header towards the bottom corner, but the Hibs goalkeeper leaps into action to push it wide.

  9. Lucky McNultypublished at 17 mins

    Hibernian 0-0 Hearts

Now, now. Marc McNulty has clearly stood on the back of Sean Clare here after barging him over. Hearts get the free-kick, but the Hibs striker is perhaps lucky to avoid further punishment!

  10. Postpublished at 16 mins

    Hibernian 0-0 Hearts

Hibs love a counter-attack! They go from one end to the other via Martin Boyle, Scott Allan and Lewis Stevenson, but then the latter's cross is cleared by Hearts.

The visitors will need to be very careful about how many men they're committing forward.

As usual, this is breathless stuff.

  12. Postpublished at 12 mins

    Hibernian 0-0 Hearts

Stephane Omeonga does well to clear the ball out for a corner to Hearts after Conor Washington had beaten a defender and charged in towards the box. Oliver Bozanic then delivers a poor corner, and Hibs counter.

Greg Docherty surges into the box, but young full-back Aaron Hickey gets in front and shepherds it out for a goal-kick. Frantic.

Excellent phase of play from Hibs. Martin Boyle does what he does and delivers a great ball into the box for Christian Doidge. Great play

  14. CLOSE!published at 8 mins

    Hibernian 0-0 Hearts

So nearly the opener for Hibernian! They knock it about nicely before their talisman Martin Boyle drives down the right and whips in a wicked delivery.

Christian Doidge gets his head on it but it flashes just wide. Nice stuff, though.

  15. Postpublished at 6 mins

    Hibernian 0-0 Hearts

That was really good strong, composed defending by Hearts centre-back Clevid Dikamona to get back and snatch the ball from Martin Boyle who was scampering away.

He was brilliant when he came on for John Souttar on Saturday, and that was more good play.

  16. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Hibernian 0-0 Hearts

A good chance for Hibs, who have a free-kick on the right-hand side. Oliver Bozanic trips Martin Boyle, and now Hibs can put the ball into the box...but Scott Allan's delivery is poor and the chance is gone.

It's a difficult fixture for Hearts and I still believe at the back of their minds will be nervousness because of where they sit in the table. I fancy Hibs because the form they are in but you wouldn't put it past Hearts after the result at the weekend

And there you go, the first crunching tackle. Sean Clare chases an over-hit pass and clatters Hibernian defender Paul Hanlon, who gets the free-kick.

  19. Postpublished at 2 mins

Decent start by Hearts, who have had most of the ball in the first couple of minutes. They're a bit frantic in the final third, though.
