I'm definitely with George there. This weekend has been miles better than every other weekend since football was suspended in my opinion.
Bundesliga returns after coronavirus outbreak
Muller prods into net but marginally offside
Lewandowski opens the scoring from the penalty spot
Pavard heads home visitors' second
Bayern are top of the league
Union Berlin are mid-table

People need to accept that football will be behind closed doors for the foreseeable. Who cares if there's no atmosphere, I'd rather watch a game than not have it on at all. Players certainly won't be treating any game like a training match so not sure where that argument has come from?

Robert Lewandowski has now scored 40 or more goals in all competitions in each of the last five seasons:
2015-16 - 42 in 51
2016-17 - 43 in 47
2017-18 - 41 in 48
2018-19 - 40 in 47
2019-20 - 40 in 34 (well 33.5)

I can actually hear birds tweeting and singing at a football game... crazy!!!

Union Berlin 0-1 Bayern Munich
The half-time whistle goes as about 10 people on the side of the pitch applaud.
Union Berlin 0-1 Bayern Munich
Chance for Bayern right at the end of the half as Robert Lewandowski lays the ball off to Benjamin Pavard, who blasts it into the side-netting from 20 yards.
Union Berlin 0-1 Bayern Munich
Union have a corner, they send about seven players into the box but have a couple of efforts blocked.

Charlotte East: Not going to lie, football behind closed doors is boring and odd. Just watched 42 mins of the Bayern Munich match and it feels like a training game! The only benefit is you can hear the ref and players. Not a fan of PL returning like this.
Union Berlin 0-1 Bayern Munich
Four minutes added on.

Leo Weiniger: Rubbish penalty that- don't like to criticise keepers who concede pens but that really could have been saved.
Union Berlin 0-1 Bayern Munich
Bayern have a corner now. Union could do with just getting in at half-time.
Mainz came from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 in that game earlier on.

Can't complain cos footballs back, but didn't expect this to be the drab match of the day - Cologne v Mainz was way more entertaining than this one (so far anyway) !
Fin, Cardiff
Fin did text this in before the goal to be fair
Robert Lewandowski
It's Robert Lewandowski's 40th goal of the season! In 34 games!
He skips as he runs up, waits for the goalkeeper to make his move and then slots it just off-centre.
Union Berlin 0-0 Bayern Munich
Bayern have a penalty. Leon Goretzka sneaks in behind Neven Subotic, takes the ball and draws the foul.
Union Berlin 0-0 Bayern Munich
Union Berlin 0-0 Bayern Munich
Bayern left-back Alphonso Davies catches Grischa Promel and gets booked. You could hear Promel's shouts there - he needs treatment.
Union Berlin 0-0 Bayern Munich
Union forward Anthony Ujah is holding his shoulder after getting a whack from Manuel Neuer, who was (fairly) catching the ball.
A drop ball to Bayern.
Union Berlin 0-0 Bayern Munich
Jerome Boateng absolutely slices a clearance that loops into the air but luckily a Union player can't quite control the loose ball.
Union Berlin 0-0 Bayern Munich
Haven't seen loads of Robert Lewandowski yet... so he'll probably score four goals.
