How big a challenge awaits Frankfurt?

Bayern have won 40 points in 16 Bundesliga fixtures under coach Hans Flick, and scored 50 goals.

They have scored more goals in the 16 games under Flick than 13 clubs have in their entire season.

I say routine - Bayern have won the Bundesliga for the past seven years so they know a thing or two about title race pressure.

In fact it's 11 years now since a team other than Dortmund or Bayern won the title. A two horse race?

So then, Dortmund have trimmed Bayern Munich's lead at the top of the table to just one point.

The champions can make it four again with a home win against Eintracht Frankfurt. Will it be routine?
