    RB Leipzig 1-1 Hertha Berlin

Ah, unlucky! Hertha break away in speed and in numbers, Dodi Lukebakio cuts inside his man on the right wing and would be able to jag in on goal but he loses his footing and goes down.

He has a pleading look at the linesman for a foul but that was all your own work.

By all accounts Timo Werner has a release clause of about £48m which in the pre-pandemic footballing world seems pretty good value.

Liverpool are the favourites to sign him but does he go there and compete for a place in that famous front three? He wouldn't be guaranteed to start all that many games you wouldn't have thought.

    He'd back himself obviously.

    RB Leipzig 1-1 Hertha Berlin

Hertha had been the better side but one good set piece and it's all square. We've got another injury problem now as Jordan Torunarigha now wears the ball full on the nose. Get the cotton wool out.

  4. goal

GOAL - RB Leipzig 1-1 Hertha Berlinpublished at 17:55 British Summer Time 27 May 2020

    Lukas Klostermann (24 mins)

Fire up the James Brown goal music! Leipzig level and it's another goal from a corner. Christopher Nkunku's cross is a good one, centre-back Lukas Klostermann makes a sharp run across his man and picks out a cracking header across goal. It goes in off the post with a pleasing thunk.

    RB Leipzig 0-1 Hertha Berlin

Both players are up. Vladimir Darida looks pretty banged up, he hit the ground hard.

    RB Leipzig 0-1 Hertha Berlin

Interestingly, we've just seen a replay of Hertha left-back Marvin Plattenhardt who put the corner in for the goal. Immediately he blinked and signalled that he needed to come off. His call.

    RB Leipzig 0-1 Hertha Berlin

For the second time in the first 20 minutes there's a big clash of heads. Ouch I heard that one from here. Dani Olmo and I think it's Vladimir Darida who go up for the header and smack heads.

    RB Leipzig 0-1 Hertha Berlin

Leipzig were slick and superb on Sunday, they've been a bit stodgy thus far. Does nobody like playing at home now? Weird isn't it.

    RB Leipzig 0-1 Hertha Berlin

Hertha looking really good, superbly confident. Matheus Cunha carries them downfield and a great crossfield ball finds Dodi Lukebakio. He tees up Vlad Darida, whose shot is a bit hasty and wide.

    Time! You had time!

That goal has slingshotted Hertha up the as-it-stands table. They are only five points off a Europa League spot now.

He's just got an assist but Marvin Plattenhardt now has to go off. It was his head injury that caused a delay a minute or two ago.

  12. goal

GOAL - RB Leipzig 0-1 Hertha Berlinpublished at 17:40 British Summer Time 27 May 2020

    Marko Grujic (9 mins)

The away day bonanza continues! Hertha lead, and it comes from a corner. Left-back Marvin Plattenhardt puts in a superb delivery, on-loan Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic is free and volleys into the back of the net.

    RB Leipzig 0-0 Hertha Berlin

Cracking move after a delay for a head knock, it ends with Konrad Laimer slamming a powerful shot at keeper Rune Jarstein, an easy save really. But the best we've seen from the hosts so far.

The massive bulls mural around the ground is a bit Billericay chairman...

Compsoed, confident start from the visitors despite being underdogs. Veteran Vedad Ibisevic, who scored a fine header the other night, swivels and shoots over but he was offside.

Ah, Kevin Kampl, one of RB's most impressive players at the weekend, tweaked something in the warm up so is out. Tyler Adams comes in instead from the start.

It will also be interesting to see how high-flying Leipzig get on at home tonight.

Since the restart only three wins have been picked up at home in 22 matches. And more goals have been scored by the away teams too (44 compared to 25).

Speaking of players in great nick, Matheus Cunha scored for the fourth straight game in Friday's Berlin derby.
