  1. Luiz' night to forgetpublished at 14:46 British Summer Time 20 June 2020

    Brighton v Arsenal (15;00 BST)

It was a bit of a horror show for Arsenal on Wednesday on the opening night of the Premier League's return.

David Luiz, who came on as a substitute, ended up assisting Raheem Sterling, giving away a penalty and getting sent off all within 25 minutes.

    Not a great night.

To make things worse for Arsenal, Pablo Mari and Granit Xhaka were taken off injured on stretchers.

It can only get better today, surely?

    Brighton v Arsenal (15:00 BST)

Long-term absentee Jose Izquierdo is the only player unavailable to Brighton head coach Graham Potter.

Forward Aaron Connolly has fully recovered from knee and ankle injuries but only makes the bench, with Neal Maupay leading the line.

Pascal Gross starts in midfield and will be expected to provide the ammunition along with Leandro Trossard.

Brighton: Ryan, Schelotto, Webster, Dunk, Burn, Propper, Bissouma, Mooy, Gross, Trossard, Maupay.

Subs: Lamptey, Duffy, Stephens, Mac Allister, Murray, March, Montoya, Button, Connolly.

Arsenal make five changes from the defeat at Manchester City on Wednesday, at least two of them enforced. Pablo Mari's injury and David Luiz's suspension means Rob Holding starts at centre-back, with Dani Ceballos replacing the injured Granit Xhaka in midfield.

Alexandre Lacazette plays in attack in place of Eddie Nketiah, where he is joined by Nicolas Pepe - taking the place of Joe Willock.

The other man coming in is Sead Kolasinac, with Kieran Tierney dropping out.

Arsenal: Leno, Bellerin, Mustafi, Holding, Kolasinac, Pepe, Ceballos, Guendouzi, Saka, Lacazette, Aubameyang.

Subs: Tierney, Ozil, Maitland-Niles, Nelson, Martinez, Willock, Nketiah, Martinelli, Medley.

    FT: Watford 1-1 Leicester

Craig Dawson's 93rd-minute equaliser was Watford's first goal scored from a corner situation this Premier League season. All teams have now scored at least one set piece goal from a corner situation this campaign.

  4. Fresh start for Brighton?published at 14:41 British Summer Time 20 June 2020

    Brighton v Arsenal (15:00 BST)

It's Brighton's first game since 7 March so will they be a little rusty? Arsenal have already got a full match under their belts - a large proportion of it played as 10-men so they will have been given a workout!

That last match for Brighton was a 0-0 draw with Wolves and there was very little to get excited about.

The Seagulls have yet to win a game in 2020, and are now sat two points above the relegation zone.

Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City all travel to the Amex in the next few weeks too, so they need to start picking up some points.

    Leicester City

Leicester defender Ben Chilwell: "Second half we were pretty dominant. Last five minutes we knew their strengths and they'd try to get the ball in the box, We looked the fitter of the two teams. We are disappointed with the goal at the end.

"The gaffer and players are always telling me to shoot in those positions, I just concentrated on a clean strike and getting it on target.

"We are trying for Champions League. Watford to their credit played to their strengths but we were the better team and more dominant.

"Both keepers made some great saves. Kasper (Schmeichel) made some ones that kept us in the game at times. At the other end we can score goals.

"We spoke about the impact of no atmosphere. We are professionals and all fighting for things. Fans or not fans we need to be up for every game. Take the point and move on."

  6. 'I worry for Brighton'published at 14:36 British Summer Time 20 June 2020

    Brighton v Arsenal (15:00 BST)

This is a quick turnaround for Arsenal after Wednesday's defeat by Manchester City but at least it is only a short flight for them this time.

Being serious, I cannot believe the Gunners only flew up to Manchester a few hours before kick-off. That will not have helped their preparations at all.

But at least Arsenal have played now. I do think the teams with a game under their belt will benefit a lot, fitness-wise. In a strange way, the fact they went down to 10 men and got a bit of a chasing might help in that area too.

Before it all went wrong for them, the Gunners did look quite lively on the counter-attack at Etihad Stadium and the same approach might work for them here.

I worry for Brighton, who are the only top-flight team without a league win this year and have got a tricky run-in too. They draw a lot of games, but can they pick up enough points that way to claw themselves to safety?

The next game kicks off in less than half an hour. One down, three to go.

Watford goalscorer Craig Dawson speaking to BT Sport: "It's something you practise in training and it probably doesn't go in very often. I'm delighted with my first goal. It was obviously a very important goal and it was good to get a point in the end.

"We were disappointed to concede but great spirit from the lads to go and get the equaliser.

"There was tiredness in the second half. But credit to the lads. You can hear the lads who are not playing and the noise they made when the goal went in.

"It is different to what we are used to and we missed the fans but hopefully we can continue. We will keep working hard. Tough game next."

It took a while to get going but that second half was entertaining and the ending was superb!

Crucial point for Watford too. They move up to 16th.

Leicester are eight points ahead of fifth in a Champions League spot. They should be comfortable shouldn't they?

    WHAT IS GOING ON!!!

It's an overhead kick - yes, an OVERHEAD KICK from centre-back Craig Dawson. It's his first goal for Watford too!

The corner isn't dealt with by Leicester, it deflects off a Watford team-mate and Dawson just improvises, hooking it past Kasper Schmeichel and into the top corner.

    incredible!
