There's a VAR check. It looked a clear enough penalty.

A brilliant jinking run from Vinicius Jr into the box and he's fouled by Diego Llorente as he's about to shoot.

Madrid straight on the attack, some good Vinicius Jr footwork down the left but his cross is cleared.

Second half has kicked off.

Romelu Lukaku misses a huge chance to score. Ashley Young feeds Christian Eriksen, who squares to Lukaku but the Belgian striker snatches a shot wide from 10 yards.

Now Eriksen has an opportunity but shoots at the keeper from just outside the box.

Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is booked for a collision. Not sure he did loads wrong.

The second half begins in Milan. To be honest it started a minute ago but I was helping put the baby in his cot.

Federico Valverde has such a great engine. The Madrid midfielder nips in to win the ball on the halfway line and surges forward before feeding Karim Benzema on the left. The Frenchman has a crack but it's saved by Alex Remiro. The game's first shot on target.
