  1. HALF-TIMEpublished at 45 mins

    Bournemouth 0-1 Leicester

Leicester looking good for another win, Bournemouth in big strife.

  2. Postpublished at 45+3 mins

    Bournemouth 0-1 Leicester

James Justin almost scrambles in a second for the Foxes, his cross loops up and Aaron Ramsdale does well to turn it over.

From the corner Christian Fuchs whips it in and Jamie Vardy is inches away from turning it home.

  3. 'Much better'published at 19:47 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Bournemouth 0-1 Leicester

    Karen Carney
Former England and Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Excellent save from Kasper Schmeichel. David Brooks lashed at it with his left foot. He hit it really well. Much better by Bournemouth

  4. CLOSE!published at 45+1 mins

    Bournemouth 0-1 Leicester

That's better though, much better from Bournemouth as Dan Gosling backheels into the path of David Brooks and he arrows a shot towards goal. Kasper Schmeichel is on hand to make a fine one-handed save.

There we go! As my brother put it, 'it's like a kid's team where you're not bothered about results just teaching them ideals.'

Get it into Callum Wilson and let him at them. FIVE minutes added on.

Rodney Marshall: Norwich and Bournemouth never seem to learn about playing out from the back. They need a Keith Curle tutorial in defending.

  7. Postpublished at 43 mins

    Bournemouth 0-1 Leicester

Lloyd Kelly passes it out of play.

So many mistakes, are Bournemouth just trying to play a brand of football that is beyond what their players can achieve?

Reminds me of this tweet I saw yesterday from Curtis Woodhouse...

You just hope Steve Cook doesn't let losing Nathan Ake affect the team mentally. He has got to be commanding and use his experience wisely.

  10. 'Not surprising anymore'published at 19:40 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

#bbcfootball or text 81111 (UK only)

Sam: As a Bournemouth fan it's not surprising anymore. Always giving the ball away, losing possession and inadequate defending. Seem to deflate after conceding.

Scott: Bet David Brooks wishes he stayed at Sheff Utd. The joys of hindsight.

  11. ouch!

    Postpublished at 38 mins

I'm not a doctor but this doesn't look great for Nathan Ake. He had to throw himself at that shot and his left leg was bent double under his own body.

  12. CLOSE!published at 38 mins

    Bournemouth 0-1 Leicester

It's very nearly another goal for Jamie Vardy, who has the ball played straight to him by (I think) Callum Wilson.

Vardy hares into the box, gets it on to his left foot and shoots but Nathan Ake does brilliantly to get across and deflect it over the bar.

To make matters worse for the Cherries Ake is hurt.

  13. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Bournemouth 0-1 Leicester

That was Leicester's first goal in the first half since the Premier League resumed.

It's not looking good for Bournemouth.

The Cherries have not come back from behind to win a Premier League match since 18 August 2018, when they defeated West Ham away after being 1-0 down.

  14. Postpublished at 36 mins

    Bournemouth 0-1 Leicester

While I've got the stats thing open you may be interested to know that Jamie Vardy's 23 goals have come from just 76 shots.

That's only the joint 15th-most shots. Clinical or what.

Mo Salah has had the most, with 122.

  15. Postpublished at 34 mins

    Bournemouth 0-1 Leicester

He may not need any more.

Jamie Vardy has got 23 goals in the Premier League this season, three more than anybody else and 23 more than Dominic Solanke who is up front for Bournemouth.

  16. Vardy closing in on Golden Bootpublished at 19:33 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

    Bournemouth 0-1 Leicester

    Karen Carney
Former England and Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's every forwards dream to win the Golden Boot. Jamie Vardy will want that more than anyone. It's great motivation. If he gets another couple of goals it could be his.

  17. Postpublished at 30 mins

Kelechi Iheanacho gets a quick shot away and that's well held by Aaron Ramsdale.

  19. 'Dreadful defending'published at 19:28 British Summer Time 12 July 2020

#bbcfootball or text 81111 (UK only)

Greg Morter: Dreadful defending. You shouldn't do it at any level never mind the Premier League. Jamie Vardy won't care one jot.

James Ash: That’s the most Jamie Vardy goal you’ll ever wish to see.

  20. Postpublished at 28 mins

    Bournemouth 0-1 Leicester

As it stands Bournemouth would be six points from safety with nine available.

Leicester are four points ahead of fifth-placed Manchester United.
