    Really nice from Leipzig!

Christopher Nkunku is picked out in the box after a smart run into space by Dani Olmo through the middle.

Nkunku creates a yard to shoot but ends up smacking it into a teammate.

Interesting discussion on BT Sport about two French defensive-minded players on show tonight.

Nordi Mukiele from RB Leipzig and Presnel Kimpembe from PSG. Plenty of talent on show and it's not all from the boys up front...

I look at the team that Julian Nagelsman has put out tonight for Leipzig and they can match the speed of that PSG front three. Whether they can keep up with the movement is another question.

I think Thomas Tuchel has the advantage in terms of his squad. Anyone with Kylian Mbappe and Neymar is not doing badly.

Brian: Indeed this is psg's year where we will see amazing combination of neymar and mbappe lift the champions league title. bayern should get prepared.

Koray: Dont ever underastimate Leipzig. They are in a better form than Psg and definitely the favourite tonight.

Bigs Nifs: So much focus is on Bayern winning it that I feel PSG may sneak in through the back door and win the UCL.

  11. 'Neymar has always been a leader'published at 19:43 British Summer Time 18 August 2020

RB Leipzig v PSG (20:00 BST)

Paris Saint-Germain coach Thomas Tuchel says Brazilian Neymar "has always been a leader" and it's the key to seeing him perform on "another level".

"Since I arrived he has always been a leader. A different leader, not as everyone understands him, but with his qualities, his confidence, his courage in the field, his will to win," said Tuchel.

"He loves competition and you need that to be a leader. We also created a group with players like Ander Herrera, Pablo Sarabia, Keylor Navas and others, guys who know very well how to live together, created a collective atmosphere.

"Perhaps this is the key to seeing Neymar on another level."

  12. 'Team spirit evident vs Atalanta'published at 19:41 British Summer Time 18 August 2020

RB Leipzig v PSG (20:00 BST)

French football journalist Julien Laurens: "The team spirit we saw [from PSG] against Atalanta and in the second leg against Borussia Dortmund was not really there in previous years.

"Boss Thomas Tuchel and his staff created a pact between them that this could be their year - you have to believe until the end and not feel that stress or pressure that you did before. The game against Atalanta showed that really well.

"In Paris they are very cautious of this Leipzig team and they know PSG can only go through if Neymar and Mbappe have the same type of performance they had against Atalanta."

  15. 'We need to make PSG work'published at 19:35 British Summer Time 18 August 2020

RB Leipzig v PSG (20:00 BST)

RB Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann, who worked with Thomas Tuchel in Augsburg's reserves 12 years ago, believes the best way to try and combat PSG's attacking players is to defend as a unit.

"You can't foresee what Neymar and Kylian Mbappe could do, they're top players. We need to defend them as a team," he said.

"It'll be difficult, but we need to make them work and put them under pressure.

"We have to avoid losing the ball, because PSG are very strong on the counter-attack, but we'll try to take the game by the scruff of the neck."

  16. Navas absence is a blow for PSGpublished at 19:32 British Summer Time 18 August 2020

It is a blow for PSG that Keylor Navas is not playing. They bought him from Real Madrid for all his experience. He won three Champions League's in a row with Madrid and Zinedine Zidane.

Sergio Rico's last game in the league was a 4-3 win over Bordeaux but he was not convincing. Rico has pedigree in Europe but there is something that feels missing with him starting in goal tonight.

  18. 'Not a historic moment'published at 19:28 British Summer Time 18 August 2020

RB Leipzig v PSG (20:00 BST)

PSG are playing in their first top-tier European semi-final since 1995, having reached the last 16 for the previous three seasons and the quarter-finals four campaigns on the bounce before that.

They won the domestic treble this season in France.

"We are living in the moment. We deserve to be here because we have had an extraordinary season," said Tuchel.

"We are absolutely ready, the hunger is there, but this is not a historic moment, it is a semi-final and we are here to make the most of all the hard work we have put in and to win it."

  20. 'A battle of the new money'published at 19:26 British Summer Time 18 August 2020

RB Leipzig v PSG (20:00 BST)

    Julien Laurens
French football expert on BBC Radio 5 live

It is fair to talk about it being a battle of the new money. We can talk about the way in which RB Leipzig were created and made their way up from the fifth division and they did spend a lot of money to get where they are now.

PSG is a club owned by a state and they have spent more than a billion pounds to get where they are now.
