Sevilla midfielder Nemanja Gudelj: "One of the best qualities of this team is the unity within the group, and the team that we are. We always work together. You can see that on the pitch.

"Many new players arrived at the start of the season, but I think the credit must go to the gaffer and to [director of football] Monchi for building a team as united as this one."

Only Liverpool (six between 1973 and 1984) and Real Madrid (all nine since 1985) have won more consecutive European finals than Sevilla's five.

The Spanish side have never lost a one-off knockout match in Uefa Cup/Europa League history (P8 W6 D2 - winning the two draws on penalties).

  3. Lu-La to be the difference?published at 19:21 British Summer Time 21 August 2020

Sevilla v Inter Milan (20:00 BST)

Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martínez - or Lu-La as they've been badged - have forged one heck of a partnership with 54 goals between them.

Only Angelillo-Firmani, who scored 70 in 1958-59, have combined for more goals for Inter in a single season.

Speaking of Ronaldo, he finished that 1997-98 season - his first for Inter Milan - with 34 goals, which still the record for most goals in a debut season for an Inter player.

Romelu Lukaku, however, has the chance to equal and maybe even break that record tonight. He's currently on 33 goals with 14 of those coming in just 10 Europa League games.

  5. Team newspublished at 19:10 British Summer Time 21 August 2020

Sevilla v Inter Milan (20:00 BST)

Only one change for either side from the teams who won the Europa League semi-finals.

Luuk de Jong, who scored Sevilla's winner against Manchester United, takes the place of Youssef En-Nesyri up front.

Romelu Lukaku and Ashley Young start again for Inter Milan. Alexis Sanchez is on the bench after missing the semi-final win over Shakhtar Donetsk.

Sevilla: Bono, Navas, Kounde, Carlos, Reguilon, Fernando, Jordan, Banega, Ocampos, Suso, De Jong.

Inter Milan: Handanovic, Godin, De Vrij, Bastoni, D'Ambrosio, Barella, Brozovic, Gagliardini, Young, Lukaku, Martinez.

The last time Inter Milan reached the Uefa Cup/Europa League final was back in 1998.

The Italians thrashed domestic rivals Lazio 3-0 with Ronaldo putting in a sublime performance.

He was pretty much unplayable and capped off a superb display with a classic Ronaldo goal - rounding the goalkeeper before slotting in.

    Legend.

    Hello!

Well over a year since the 2019-20 Europa League got under way we are finally here - the Europa League final.

Sevilla overcame Manchester United 2-1 to give themselves a shot at a sixth crown while Inter Milan thrashed Shakhtar Donetsk 5-0 as they look to secure their first European trophy since winning the Champions League in 2010.

Kick off is in just under one hour.

The Europa League trophy could pretty much be renamed the Sevilla trophy given the Spanish side's success in the tournament.

They have won it five times - including three in a row from 2014. In fact, every time they have reached the final they have gone on to win it.

That's a daunting prospect for Inter Milan, who haven't won any silverware for almost a decade.

But in Antonio Conte they have a coach who is used to winning trophies, and in Romelu Lukaku they have a striker who is in the form of his life.

It sets things up for a fascinating Europa League final...
