Lucy Staniforth's effort from outside the box deflects just wide, after a mazy run from Ella Toone. United remain on top.

Still we're yet to see Arsenal pose a significant threat on goal, or build up any real pressure.

It's the hosts who look more likely to get a second goal, but Leah Galton's effort from the left is blocked.

Arsenal arrived in the North West with five wins out of five in the WSL, but they've been second best this afternoon.

This scoreline would lift Manchester United to the top of the Women's Super League table.
