    HT: Dynamo Kyiv 0-0 Barcelona

Bit of a damp squib this one.

Barca with all the possession but Dynamo looking very comfortable.

HT: Paris St-Germain 1-0 RB Leipzig

So far so good for PSG, who as it stands have leapfrogged their opponents to move second in Group H.

The performance has been great and the application as well, they've been really good, very secure, very professional. Very Manchester United.

I think there's a lot more goals in this game for Man United if they continue to play one and two-touch football. They played the majority of that first half on the front foot. Man United are in full control.

  4. Sancho scores fantastic free-kickpublished at 20:48 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2020

    Borussia Dortmund 2-0 Club Bruges

Wow, that is sensational from Jadon Sancho.

It's dead central, 20 yards out, and he curls a beautiful free-kick into the top right-hand corner.

Dortmund coach Lucien Favre stands with his hands on his head on the touchline. He can't believe that.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:47 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2020

    Man Utd 3-0 Istanbul Basaksehir

Manchester United are in control thanks to a brilliant attacking performance. The defending, not quite as impressive but they are very comfortable.

How can people get so wound up by the run up of a penalty? Bizarre

Basaksehir keeper Fehmi Mert Gunok doesn't look the most reliable. He comes flying to the edge of his box but Bruno Fernandes can't take advantage.

At the other end, Demba Ba has a chance to score but his shot is blocked by Harry Maguire.

Victory is almost certainly in the bag already for Manchester United.

If only they had won in Turkey three weeks ago. If they had, qualification would virtually have been assured given the massive goal difference advantage they have over RB Leipzig in the event of three teams finishing level on 12 points.

As it is, they will need at least a draw against PSG next week - if the French side win tonight - to secure a place in the last-16 with a game to spare.

    Paris St-Germain 1-0 RB Leipzig

Crikey. Have just watched RB Leipzig keeper Peter Gulacsi sprint out of his penalty area and flick the ball away from Kylian Mbappe to safety.

Never thought I'd see that when I was watching him at Tranmere a decade ago.

Garrypl: I miss the days when penalties were just leathered into the corner

James: Love that from Bruno. "Nah dont worry, I'll get my hat trick later..."

Does ANYONE take a proper, old-fashioned penalty any more? All this stuttering gets my goat - this is football, not Strictly Come Dancing!

Marcus Rashford has five Champions League goals in four games this season, as many as he had scored in his first 18 games in the competition.

I get Marcus Rashford taking it because he won the penalty, but not sure why Bruno Fernandes would give it to Anthony Martial, say.

Very emphatic penalty. There was a bit of to-ing and fro-ing, Anthony Martial wanted it, Edinson Cavani wanted it, Bruno Fernandes had it then gave it to Marcus Rashford. Great penalty. Great stuff for Manchester United.

  19. Ronaldo pulls Juve levelpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2020

    Juventus 1-1 Ferencvaros

And just like that Cristiano Ronaldo equals Lionel Messi's record of 70 home goals in the Champions League.

He gets the ball around 25 yards out and just drills into the bottom left-hand corner with minimal fuss.

    Potential shock off in Turin.

  20. Ronaldo has a goal ruled outpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2020

    Juventus 0-1 Ferencvaros

Juventus are growing into the game in Turin.

Cristiano Ronaldo is fed through, and duly slots home but he's a good two or three yards offside.

The forward can equal (and potentially beat) Lionel Messi's Champions League of 70 home goals if he gets on the scoresheet tonight. Will he do it?
