Dan Pickering: I started watching the commentary just after Dundalk scored and the goals have dried up I apologise to everyone.

Re: David, 18.43: Saka is a great prospect but he's not at the level of Reguilon, Robertson or even Castagne at the moment.

    Dundalk 1-2 Arsenal

Who had money on Eddie Nketiah being Arsenal's top scorer this season? The 21-year-old now has five in all competitions - one more than Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.

Leicester's Thursday side would still be good enough to finish in the Premier League's top 10.

The 3 yellow cards given in this game has all been laughably soft, what is this ref doing?

    Chris, Woking

Re. Tattz, 18:33: Saka and only Saka. The only decent future prospect at Arsenal but I strongly fear that he will be in a Man City or Chelsea shirt in two years time

    David, Portsmouth

  10. CLOSE!published at 18:42 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2020

    Dundalk 1-2 Arsenal

Massive chance for Dundalk on the stroke of half-time.

A cross by Patrick McEleney leads to a chance but it's blocked from about six yards out.

Dundalk are giving this a right good go.

    Dundalk 1-2 Arsenal

Mikel Arteta will be reasonably pleased with how it is going so far. Arsenal have acquitted themselves well but that Dundalk goal will bug the heck out of the Gunners boss.

  12. Postpublished at 42 mins

    Dundalk 1-2 Arsenal

Gary Rogers will have anticipated a busy game and the Dundalk keeper is certainly having one.

He's down again to keep out another long-range effort - this time from Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

It's almost as if Arsenal's players are under orders to shoot from distance.

Three goals, three yellow cards and a filthy pitch. Decent match.

Tattz: 19 players in that Arsenal squad and I’m struggling to think of one that would walk into any team in the top 10 in the Premier League.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 36 mins

    Dundalk 1-2 Arsenal

Cedric Soares is well outside the penalty area when he decides to let fly. It bounces awkwardly just in front of Gary Rogers but the keeper is able to get a touch and divert it behind for a corner,

    Lech Poznan 0-1 Rangers

Rangers can win their group by matching Benfica's result tonight and they've made the perfect start.

    Dundalk 1-2 Arsenal

It's all got a bit scrappy. The heavy pitch isn't helping in terms of passing accuracy but after a fast start Arsenal have been a little subdued since conceding.

  19. Postpublished at 31 mins

    Dundalk 1-2 Arsenal

No goals for nearly 10 minutes. What's going on?

  20. YELLOW CARDpublished at 30 mins

    Dundalk 1-2 Arsenal

    Another yellow for the Gunners.

Joe Willock's arm makes contact with David McMillan.

It's unintentional but the referee is quick to reach for his top pocket.
