Here's the second change for Stoke and it's an attacking one as Tyrese Campbell comes on for Jacob Brown.

The new signing caught the eye in the first half but has tailed off since the break.

Break in play here as Jack Hunt goes down after a challenge for a high ball. He seems ok though and is up on his feet.

We've just seen a close-up of Stoke boss Michael O'Neill looking thoughtful as he chews his gum and observes the game.

He has had Tashan Oakley-Boothe and Tyrese Campbell warming up as he contemplates a second change.

    Danger for Stoke.

Jack Hunt finds himself in acres of space on the right and floats a dangerous cross into the box which James Chester does well to flick away for a throw-in.

A couple of substitutes are warming up for Stoke City as Michael O'Neill plots a way back into this game.

Apart from that half-chance for Fletcher early in the half the hosts have had little moments of note since half-time.

  7. Postpublished at 55 mins

    Stoke City 0-1 Bristol City

Bristol City have had 58% of the possession so far - it was 68% midway through the first half so Stoke have definitely improved.

But the hosts have yet to have an effort on target, and they definitely need one if they want anything out of this game.

Bristol City keeper Daniel Bentley does well to gather Tommy Smith's deep cross under a lot of pressure from Steven Fletcher.

I think the Scotland forward will be a bit of handful for the Bristol City defence in this second period.

Substitute Steven Fletcher wins the ball, lays it off to Nick Powell and heads for the penalty area.

Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke says he would turn down a £100m bid for Barcelona-linked defender Max Aarons.

The Canaries have reportedly rejected a loan offer for the 20-year-old England Under-21 right-back, who has also attracted interest from Bayern Munich.

Aarons played the full 90 minutes in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Preston.

"I wouldn't sell Max Aarons, not for £100m, because he's too important for us, but that's quite normal," Farke told BBC Radio Norfolk.

"If there is a crazy offer then of course the key people in the club have to make the decision but I am quite relaxed."

Seven EFL games had supporters attend on Saturday as the league piloted a controlled return of fans amid the coronavirus pandemic.

But there were some fans who managed to get a peek of their sides even though the games were not part of the pilot.

These Sunderland fans made the 500-mile round-trip to Oxford United and watched from the roof of their van.

There's more on the return of fans here.

Reading are the early pace-setters in the Championship after their 2-0 win over nine-man Barnsley kept them top of the table on goal difference.

Only the Royals and Luton Town have a 100% record after two games, although Bristol City will join them if they hold on to win at Stoke.

At the bottom, Sheffield Wednesday are on -8 after their pre-season points deduction.

Five teams yet to get off the mark, including Nottingham Forest who have not won in nine games stretching back to last season after their 2-0 loss to Cardiff in the early kick-off.

    • Nottingham Forest 0-2 Cardiff City
    • Blackburn Rovers 5-0 Wycombe Wanderers
    • Brentford 3-0 Huddersfield Town
    • Luton Town 2-1 Derby County
    • Middlesbrough 1-1 AFC Bournemouth
    • Norwich City 2-2 Preston North End
    • Reading 2-0 Barnsley

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:50 British Summer Time 20 September 2020

    Stoke City 0-1 Bristol City

What an end to that first half - Nahki Wells' goal will change both team talks.

Wells should have put the visitors ahead early on, but his close-range effort after Sam Clucas' poor backpass had put the Bristol City striker in on goal was the only other effort on target in this first half.

But he made amends in stoppage time as he swivelled and shot past Adam Davies after Chris Martin had hooked the ball back from a cross.

It's been an entertaining first period with both sides having periods of being in the ascendancy - the visitors early on and the hosts as the half wore on.

Andreas Weimann has been the most dangerous player on either side, while Stoke's Jacob Brown has also shown a couple of good moments of quality.
