    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

Barca and Sevilla climb to sixth and seventh respectively with a point each, which maintains an unbeaten start for both at least.

Leaders Real Madrid are three points ahead, having played one game more than both.

    That's all from me today.

You'll be able to read the report on this game over here.

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

    No way through for Barcelona!

They are made to settle for a point against a very well organised Sevilla side at the Nou Camp.

  3. Postpublished at 90+1 mins

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

Sevilla are having to withstand a late bit of Barcelona pressure here.

Lionel Messi dances his way into the Sevilla penalty area but he runs into too many defenders and Sevilla reorganise quickly, ready to deal with another attack.

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

It remains very much in the balance heading into the closing stages.

We're going to get five minutes of added time at the end of this closely-fought contest.

A point apiece would feel fair, but Barcelona are pressing for a late winner...

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

Debutant Sergino Dest does enough to shield the ball and win a free-kick near his own penalty area with Sevilla still unhappy to allow Barcelona any space around the park.

It's starting to look like both sides might just be happy with taking a point from this one.

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

Lionel Messi takes aim from outside the penalty area and his shot is pushed out to safety by Bono.

The hosts attack again and Sergio Busquets' cross is met by the head of Frenkie de Jong but the Dutchman misses the target.

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

We're approaching the final 10 minutes now.

This second half has not quite lived up to the standard set by a lively first 45 minutes, you'd suspect tiredness will remain a big factor this season after a short summer break.

Sevilla aren't going to stop hunting Barcelona down, though. I'm not sure if they know any other way.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 77 mins

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

And Sevilla make a change of their own.

Ivan Rakitic is replaced by Nemanja Gudelj after a good showing against his former employers.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 75 mins

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

The 19-year-old Sergino Dest does indeed make his first Barcelona appearance, replacing Jordi Alba.

Meanwhile, Philippe Coutinho is also off as Miralem Pjanic joins the action.

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

Jordi Alba is down with an injury problem and it looks like United States international Sergino Dest could be set for his debut following his 21m euro (£18.9m) move from Ajax on Thursday...

  11. Postpublished at 70 mins

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

Barcelona earn a corner now, which Philippe Coutinho takes and Bono rushes out to gather.

A quick look tells me it's four attempts to one in Sevilla's favour so far in this second half.

An impressive display by Julen Lopetegui's side so far.

  12. Postpublished at 67 mins

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

Jules Kounde meets a corner from the right and heads wide of the target.

Almost as soon as Barcelona have taken their goal-kick, Sevilla have forced them into conceding another corner.

Kounde once again is first to the cross, but his effort is almost an exact replica of his chance a few moments earlier.

  13. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 65 mins

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

It's almost a very unfortunate own-goal for Ronald Araujo.

A low cross clips the Barcelona defender's leg and smacks off the helpless Neto's crossbar.

Sevilla are beginning to fancy a statement victory here.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 62 mins

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

    Right, subs.

Trincao and Pedri are on for Barcelona, replacing Antoine Griezmann and Ansu Fati.

Suso and Lucas Ocampos come off for Sevilla, with Munir and Youssef En-Nesyri on for the visitors.

  15. Postpublished at 60 mins

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

We have substitutes ready from both sides.

First, Barcelona have a corner and Bono comes out to gather but misses it completely.

There's nobody willing to gamble for the hosts though and the goalkeeper's mistake goes unpunished.

  16. Postpublished at 57 mins

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

It's all very balanced at the moment.

Sevilla are holding their shape and Barcelona are struggling to unlock the visitors after what was an end-to-end first half.

Ronald Koeman's side are having to be very patient as we approach the hour mark and are knocking the ball around the outskirts of the Sevilla penalty area.

  17. Postpublished at 54 mins

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

No lack of effort or desire from Lionel Messi despite his unsettled summer which saw him ask for a move away from the club.

Exactly as you'd expect from him, of course.

He hasn't had too many clear opportunities against his favourite opponents so far though.

  18. Postpublished at 51 mins

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

It's Sevilla who have started on the front foot again at the beginning of the second half but Barcelona are beginning to pick holes through the midfield as the game continues to be stretched.

Lionel Messi tries to set his team on their way but he can't pick out a team-mate on this occasion.

  19. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

Antoine Griezmann latches on to a long ball over the top but the Frenchman produces a rather weak shot at Bono's goal.

You didn't expect the former Atletico Madrid forward to score from that situation, sadly.

  20. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:02 British Summer Time 4 October 2020

    Barcelona 1-1 Sevilla

And we're back up and running again!
