It's ninth-placed Watford against Stoke, in 10th, at Vicarage Road tonight.

Watford with no wins in their past three games will be hoping get back to winning ways after suffering their second defeat of the season at Barnsley on Saturday.

The Hornets remain unbeaten in the league at home, only dropping two points in their first four home games.

They face a Stoke City side who come into this game on the back of a 1-0 win over Rotherham United.

The Potters have been good on the road, having lost just one of their past six away league games, although that defeat did come in their last such game against Swansea.

Interestingly, this will be the third consecutive meeting between Watford and Stoke where both sides have different managers: Marco Silva, Javi Gracia and Vladimir Ivic for Watford and Mark Hughes, Paul Lambert and Michael O'Neill for Stoke.

The seven sides immediately below leaders Reading all played on Tuesday, with only Bristol City winning.

That means the Royals - whose unbeaten start ended at Coventry on Friday - will go six points clear with victory over a Preston side who have won on just one of their past 20 league visits to the Madjeski.

However, Alex Neil's side have been victorious in their past three away games and are always solid Championship opposition.
