Derby County v Barnsley (15:00 GMT)

It's been a heck of a week for Derby County.

On Wednesday they slipped to a late home defeat by QPR to leave them second bottom in the Championship with just six points from 10 games.

The following day it was revealed that boss Phillip Cocu and chairman Mel Morris were to self-isolate for 14 days after chief executive Stephen Pearce tested positive for Covid-19.

Then on Friday Morris agreed a deal to sell the club to Derventio Holdings (UK) Limited.

Despite everything going on off the pitch the Rams really need to take something against a Barnsley side who saw their four-match unbeaten run ended with a 3-0 defeat by Cardiff on Tuesday.

  2. Strugglers look to continue good formpublished at 14:47 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2020

Nottingham Forest v Wycombe Wanderers (15:00 GMT)

Things were looking bleak for Wycombe three games ago.

The Chairboys, in their first season at this level, had a record of played seven, lost seven.

However, the past 10 days have seen them draw one and win two to climb to within one point of 21st-placed Coventry,

Nottingham Forest, like Wycombe, needed an injury-time winner to claim a 2-1 victory in midweek but have been in good form since Chris Hughton took over last month.

  3. Unstoppable force meets immovable objectpublished at 14:44 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2020

    Brentford v Middlesbrough (15:00 GMT)

    Ivan ToneyImage source, Rex Features

It's been a mixed start to the season for Brentford.

The Bees, beaten by Fulham in the play-off final way back in er... August, have won four, drawn three and lost three of their opening 10 games.

Opponents Middlesbrough are on a nine-match unbeaten run and have conceded just five goals all season.

Can they keep that up against an attack featuring the division's top scorer Ivan Toney, who has 10 goals already this campaign?

  4. Bournemouth look to get back on trackpublished at 14:41 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2020

Birmingham City v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

Bournemouth will be without skipper Steve Cook after he was sent off in the 1-0 defeat at Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday

Bournemouth became the last of the 92 teams to suffer defeat this season as they fell to a 1-0 loss at Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday.

It's been a pretty good start to the season for Jason Tindall's side, although five draws from those opening 10 games mean it could have been better.

Birmingham will be smarting after a midweek defeat of their own, a last minute 2-1 home reverse to Wycombe put an end to their run of back-to-back wins.

Both teams have conceded just eight goals so far this season so one goal could be enough in this.

  5. Can Hornets sting wounded Sky Blues?published at 14:38 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2020

    Watford v Coventry (15:00 GMT)

These two teams endured very different final moments to their midweek games.

The Hornets grabbed an injury-time winner to beat Stoke 3-2, while the Sky Blues conceded a stoppage-time goal to lose 2-1 at Nottingham Forest.

Watford make three changes, with William Troost-Ekong, James Garner and Andre Gray coming into the side.

Tyler Walker makes his first league start for Coventry, while Dom Hyam returns to captain the side.

Watford could finish the day in second place if they win and other results go their way.

  6. High flying birds clash at Carrow Roadpublished at 14:34 Greenwich Mean Time 7 November 2020

Norwich City v Swansea City (15:00 GMT)

It's been a very bright start to the season for the Norwich and Swansea.

Daniel Farke's men are unbeaten in their past six games, while the Swans have lost just once all season so far.

Steve Cooper's men will go top with a win and they bring Kasey Palmer into the starting XI.

    Reading 0-3 Stoke

Three straight defeats for the league leaders, three big points for upwardly mobile Stoke City.

The Potters made the most of a trio of defensive errors from the home team and defended manfully throughout to claim the win.

Back-to-back 3-0 home defeats for the Royals who had a lot of the ball but, aside from the opening five minutes or so, precious few good chances.
