Sheff Wed 0-0 Stoke
So how is Tony Pulis and his Sheffield Wednesday side doing against his former club Stoke?
Well so far, there's not a great deal happening in this game and not a lot for the Welshman to assess as he looks to maintain his fine record against the Potters.
Mark Harris (9 mins)
This is some start for Cardiff! They have a second, as they break quickly from a Luton corner.
Sheyi Ojo does well down the left and picks out Mark Harris in the middle. Harris shows good composure to drive the ball low into the bottom corner at the near post.
Rotherham 0-0 Bournemouth
The second-placed Cherries have started brightly at Rotherham, with Dominic Solanke looking lively.
Domingos Quina (9 mins)
Watford strike early and and it's come through Domingos Quina.
The Hornets midfielder is on hand to stroke home Ismaila Sarr's cross from the right flank and Preston should have dealt with that.
Blackburn 0-0 Barnsley
Ben Brereton comes into this game off a fine performance against Preston in midweek and the Blackburn striker has made a decent start against Barnsley.
He tees up Tom Trybull from distance that forces a spilled save from Tykes keeper Jack Walton before the visitors clear.
Huddersfield 0-0 Middlesbrough
Huddersfield strike early on in this game as they look to undo Middlesbrough's fine defensive work from this season.
Fraizer Campbell fires a half-volleyed effort over the bar from some distance.
Sean Morrison (5 mins)
Cardiff take an early lead as Sean Morrison turns home from close range, after Harry Wilson's dangerous cross. Not the sort of start visitors Luton wanted.
Watford 0-0 Preston
Troy Deeney has started for Watford as they take on a Preston side who are coming into this game off the back of a reeling loss to Blackburn.
The visitors have started brightly with Sean Maguire forcing a fine save from Hornets keeper Ben Foster in the early stages.
Norwich 0-0 Coventry
Neutrals might have this one down as a home banker, because Coventry have won just one of their past 31 away games in the second tier, while Norwich have lost just two of their past 23 home games in this division.
The visitors have edged the possession early on, in a quiet start.
Derby 0-0 Wycombe
Wayne Rooney's first match as lead caretaker coach of Derby is the club's first ever competitive meeting with Wycombe Wanderers.
The Rams, who are bottom of the table, could badly use a win.
Port Vale 2-3 Leyton Orient
It's all over in the early League Two game, with Leyton Orient taking all three points from a contest that both sides led.
James Brophy's goal five minutes from time proved to be the difference between the two sides.
This afternoon's nine 15:00 GMT kick-offs in the Championship are now getting under way, as well as the games at Ipswich and Oxford in League One and at Bolton in League Two.
Best of luck to your team, whoever you support! Off we go...

Cardiff v Luton (15:00 GMT)
Michael Pearlman
BBC Sport Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium
Neil Harris, by his own admission, is a manager under big pressure, fighting to keep his job.
Cardiff were supposed to be fighting for promotion but they've only won three games this season and their owner Vincent Tan isn't renowned for being patient, as Paul Trollope and even Neil Warnock might attest.
Harris promised to make changes after Cardiff's poor display at Coventry and he's made three, with Mark Harris, 21, who has had spells on loan at Newport County and Wrexham recently, getting a surprise start.
Welshman Nathan Jones, the Luton boss, starts just one of his trio of Wales internationals, with Rhys Norrington-Davies in the team and Joe Morrell and Tom Lockyer among the Hatters' substitutes.
This is the start of what in different circumstances could have been a lovely little holiday for Luton, because they visit Swansea next weekend. The Gower is lovely, even in December.
Port Vale 2-3 Leyton Orient
The early game in League Two at Vale Park continues to swing one way then the other.
Cristiano Montano had levelled for Port Vale, only for Leyton Orient to go ahead again late on through James Brophy. Not long left in the Potteries.
Watford v Preston (15:00 GMT)
Preston had a torrid time in midweek, going down to 10 men and being outplayed by Lancashire rivals Blackburn.
They travel to Vicarage Road to face a Watford side today who have gone four games unbeaten in the Championship.
The Lilywhites have not lost two straight away games since February, but run the risk of that today courtesy of their inconsistent recent record.
Sheff Wed v Stoke (15:00 GMT)
Another meeting in the Championship today of a manager and his former side as Sheffield Wednesday boss Tony Pulis faces Stoke.
The Welshman has a decent record against the Potters during his managerial career.
Coming into today's game he has lost just one of the 16 games he has faced against Stoke with nine of those coming since he left the Potters in 2013.
Rotherham v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)
Bournemouth are battling at the top of the Championship this season and look in very good shape.
However they travel to face Rotherham with a less than impressive run on their travels.
The Cherries have not won consecutive away games in the league for over two years.
The club won against Birmingham on 7 November, but can they add another away win?
