If you're looking for minor upsets, there could be one brewing in Gloucestershire today as a Cheltenham side flying high in second place in League Two visit mid-table League One outfit Crewe Alexandra.

Michael Duff's Robins will be hoping to emulate the run to the fifth round achieved by Cheltenham under Steve Cotterill in 2001-02 when they beat then second-tier Burnley before losing to West Brom.

David Artell's Crewe, meanwhile, have only reached round three once in the past 10 seasons, a record they will be bidding to improve against a team who eliminated them from this competition four years ago.

The Railwaymen did once reach the FA Cup semi-finals but that was way back in 1888. That's before TV was invented - which reminds us, this is another game you can watch on iPlayer and right here using the play icon at the top of the page.

Gills aren't out of the cup just yet.

Dominic Samuel pokes home a loose ball, hooking his left leg goalwards to connect.

    Great invention from the forward.

Bradford City v Oldham Athletic (15:00 GMT)

In one of four games you can watch live on the BBC Sport website and iPlayer today, Bradford City and Oldham Athletic, both of League Two, meet at Valley Parade.

Bradford have progressed in each of their last three FA Cup ties against Oldham, with this their first meeting in the competition since a 5-1 victory for the Bantams in January 1987.

But Oldham have won five of their last six away games in the FA Cup, including their first-round match this season against Hampton & Richmond.

    In the balance.

  5. CLOSE!published at 103 mins

    Morecambe 3-2 Solihull

So very nearly an equaliser out of nowhere.

It's a routine ball over the top, and Cameron Archer fires a volley against the side netting from a tight angle.

This game isn't won just yet.

Five minutes left until extra-time half-time.

    Morecambe look comfortable in defence.

    Gillingham 1-3 Exeter

Very little has happened in the second period at Priestfield. There's ten to go in Kent.

Exeter have this one wrapped up.

  8. goal

GOAL: Newport 2-0 Salfordpublished at 14:42 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2020

    Padraig Amond pen (76 mins)

    That should be Newport through.

The Exiles had already missed one penalty today through Mickey Demetriou, who saw his first-half spot-kick saved.

He passed over penalty duties to Padraig Amond who has surely stroked Newport into the third-round hat given Salford are down to 10 men after Brandon Thomas-Asante's red card.

    Heartbreak for the non-leaguers!

It's just a hopeful ball into the box. Cole Stockton flicks it on and John O'Sullivan loops a header into the far corner.

    No chance for the keeper.

  14. Linnets hoping to play up Pompeypublished at 14:31 Greenwich Mean Time 28 November 2020

    Portsmouth v King's Lynn Town (15:00 GMT)

It's more than 12 years since Portsmouth lifted the FA Cup for the second time in their history by beating Cardiff 1-0 in the 2008 FA Cup final.

Pompey went on to finish runners-up to Chelsea two years later and after a sequence of early exits that coincided with their slide down the leagues, they enjoyed another fine run in the competition last season before losing to eventual winners Arsenal in the last 16.

Today, though, they take on the role of giants to be slayed by welcoming National League side King's Lynn Town, who shocked League Two side Port Vale in round one and are bidding to reach round three for only the second time.

It's been a long wait for the Linnets since their previous third round appearance in 1961-62 but Pompey have won eight of their past nine games against non-league opposition - remember, you can watch Kings Lynn attempt to cause a giant-killing on the BBC Red Button, iPlayer and right here on the BBC Sport website.
