Stockport County are playing their first match in three weeks, after the Hatters squad self-isolated following a Covid-19 outbreak.

We're guaranteed another non-league team in the hat with fifth tier County looking to reach the third round for the first time since 2007.

While Yeovil, bottom of the National League, are targeting back-to-back away wins in the cup for the first time since January 2005.

The Glovers' only two victories this season have come in this competition, with a penalty shootout win over Dover Athletic followed by a 1-0 win at ten-man Bromley in the first round.

Both are one tie away from a potential draw with the big boys.

All the stats point towards a comfortable Tigers victory in the first ever competitive meeting between Stevenage and Hull City.

Former finalists Hull have progressed from eight of their last nine FA Cup ties against sides from a lower division.

Excluding shootouts, Stevenage haven’t won any of their last six FA Cup matches, failing to score four times in that run. The League Two side reached the second round this term courtesy of a shootout victory against Concord Rangers.

And the last time League One Hull City didn’t participate in the third round was back in the 2003-04 season, when the visitors were playing in the fourth tier.

National League South Oxford City are looking to reach the FA Cup third round for the first time in club history.

The Hoops beat League One Northampton Town 2-1 in the last round and are hoping to pull off a similar giant-killing away to Shrewsbury who have been struggling in the third tier.

The Shrews sit 23rd in League one, having won just once in the league all season.

Former Bristol City and Birmingham boss Steve Cotterill is taking the reigns at New Meadow for the first time today.

National League Dagenham & Redbridge have a great chance of an upset against a Mansfield Town side who are struggling towards the bottom of the football league.

The Nottinghamshire outfit sit 22nd in the fourth tier, outside of the drop zone on goal difference, having won only one of their last five league fixtures.

Daggers eliminated Football League opponents, Grimsby 3-1 in the last round.

But they’ve never won back-to-back FA Cup games against sides in the top four tiers before.

Doncaster have great away form in the cup, losing only one of their last seven away games.

And the side who are 10th in League One will fancy themselves against a Carlisle team who are seventh in the fourth tier.

The Cumbrians edged past non-league Hayes & Yeading to reach this stage of the competition.

But they were also victorious in the only previous FA Cup meeting between these two. Although that was way back in November 1927.

It's League One v National League North at the Memorial Stadium. Can Darlington repeat Chorley's heroics and knock out a side three divisions above them?

Darlo are looking to reach the FA Cup third round for the first time since the 2002-03 campaign, having fallen at this stage of the competition twice since then (2006-07, 2010-11).

But Bristol Rovers are winless in their last four competitive meetings with Darlington (D2 L2).

It's not out of the question.

National League Barnet have reached the third round of the FA Cup in just one of the last 12 campaigns, doing so in 2018-19.

They face a MK Dons side who have never lost against non-league opposition in the FA Cup, progressing from 11 such ties in the competition.

And the League One outfit have a good cup record against Barnet. Winning their only previous FA Cup meeting with the Bees 3-1 in a second round match in 2011-12 at Underhill.

My fingers have only just recovered from Crawley's epic win over National League Torquay United in the last round.

The Reds fought back from 5-3 down in extra time to beat the National League leaders in a titanic first-round tie.

Now John Yems' side switch from favourites to underdogs as the club from the fourth tier face AFC Wimbledon of League One.

The Dons progressed to the second round after beating Barrow on penalties on Thursday night.

The newly built Plough Lane hosts this one.

There were a few upsets in the nine ties yesterday, and some brilliant goals.

The biggest giant-killing came in the late game, where National League North side Chorley came from 1-0 down to beat League One promotion hopefuls Peterborough 2-1.

Exeter City and Cheltenham Town also pulled off shocks, ousting third-tier Gillingham and Crewe respectively.

Goal off the day was a tight competition, with Plymouth's Ben Reeves and Oldham pair Conor McAleny and Danny Rowe all netting sensational goals from outside the box.
