    Eibar 0-2 Real Madrid

Eibar press the Real defence in search of a response but despite their best efforts Raphael Varane and Sergio Ramos are yet to look troubled.

With just nine goals so far, Eibar have scored the fewest in La Liga and there has been little evidence to suggest they're going to add to that here.

    Eibar 0-2 Real Madrid

Real are up at 77% possession so far and Eibar have no answers for this. They've caught Zinedine Zidane's side on a very good day.

It was only last month Real suffered a three-match winless run in the league but it all appears to be clicking once again.

    Eibar 0-2 Real Madrid

    It should be three!

Karim Benzema and Luka Modric almost combine superbly once again, the French striker passing to Modric before continuing his run into the box.

Benzema meets the cross but heads narrowly wide as he tries to send the ball back across goal.

    Real are really enjoying themselves.

    Luka Modric

    Too good!

Karim Benzema does brilliantly to beat his man on the edge of the penalty area, cutting inside from the right before picking out the run of Luka Modric.

It's a classy finish Modric, who fires into the roof of the net with his right foot.

    A nightmare start for Eibar.

    Eibar 0-1 Real Madrid

Eibar are continuing their positive approach despite their early set-back.

The hosts picked up a great point away to second-placed Real Sociedad last weekend and have lost just once since September.

Ominously for Eibar, Real are looking deadly every time they go forward.

    Eibar 0-1 Real Madrid

Real come again as a wave of white shirts charge towards Dmitrovic's goal.

It's a lovely bit of skill from Luka Modric which sets his side away on the break and his side are able to earn a corner - but Eibar clear comfortably.

  7. goal

    Karim Benzema

First attack, first goal for Real!

It's a great finish by Karim Benzema, who slots in his seventh league goal of the campaign from Rodrygo's excellent pass.

Eibar had started positively, but it could be a long night ahead.

    Lille 0-0 PSG

In France, a point would be enough for Lille to go top of Ligue 1 against PSG, who require all three points to end the day in first.

It's awfully tight at the top there too.

    Eibar 0-0 Real Madrid

Eibar have only won one of their 12 La Liga games against Real Madrid, winning 3-0 back in November 2018.

They have lost five home games against Real in La Liga, their joint-most defeats against an opponent in the competition.

Could they spring a surprise tonight? The hosts have started brightly.

Eibar v Real Madrid (20:00 GMT)

It's so far, so good for Atletico Madrid.

They're three points clear of closest challengers Real Sociedad and Real Madrid, who have both played more games than Diego Simeone's early leaders.

Real can move level with Atletico, but the leaders will still have two games in hand over Zinedine Zidane's men.

It's shaping up to be an interesting season.
