Former Leeds midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

David McGoldrick does look tired but he has put a shift in today. He is one of the players I thought Chris Wilder would bring off, considering the big game with Newcastle on Tuesday but it just shows how tight this game is for him to stay on.

    Stevenage 0-2 Swansea

On another day, Stevenage could have been level with the chances they've had in this second half. They go close again as Arthur Read's free kick is tipped wide by Freddy Woodman.

  3. goal

GOAL - Bournemouth 4-1 Oldhampublished at 16:47 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Joshua King

Bournemouth have iced the cake and now they've added the cherry with Joshua King getting his second of the game with a low drives across the keeper and in after a neat dummy from a team-mate.

    Burnley 0-1 MK Dons

MK Dons are holding Burnley at bay quite comfortably at the moment... We are into the final five minutes.

Are the Premier League side heading out?

  5. Postpublished at 16:47 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Stoke 0-4 Leicester

That is a sublime pass from Youri Tielemans. Superb vision to slide a ball into the path of Dennis Praet. The midfielder can't quite reach it, and I think he might've pulled a hamstring on the stretch too - Praet goes down, then gets up and walks off the pitch.

The only blemish on an otherwise excellent afternoon for the Foxes.

  6. Watch: Madine finishes flowing move to put Blackpool back aheadpublished at 16:47 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Blackpool 2-2 West Brom

Here's Gary Madine's goal to compete a lovely team move and put Blackpool 2-1 up.

    Bristol Rovers 2-3 Sheffield United

    Michael Brown
Former Leeds midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Bristol Rovers had the opportunity to cross the ball and as we have already seen, Sheffield United have dealt with those well this afternoon. You have got to get the ball in the box if you want to put Sheffield United under any sort of pressure.

  8. Postpublished at 16:46 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Bristol Rovers 2-3 Sheffield United

Four minutes to go at the Memorial Stadium. How nervy will Sheffield United get in the closing stages? Gotta be some jitters.

  9. Postpublished at 16:44 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Exeter 0-1 Sheffield Wednesday

Still just one goal in it at St James Park with less than 10 minutes to play.

But it's Sheffield Wednesday who are looking more likely to grab a second rather than Exeter pulling it back at the minute.

  10. Postpublished at 16:44 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Blackburn 0-1 Doncaster

Doncaster defender Tom Anderson gets a shin in front of Adam Armstrong's full-blooded shot. A crucial block.

GOAL - Wycombe 4-1 Prestonpublished at 16:44 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Alex Samuel (82 mins)

    Game over.

Substitute Alex Samuel finishes off a slick team move to restore Wycombe's three-goal advantage.

Absolutely no way back for Preston now, although that never really looked likely anyway.

  12. Lascelles returns for Newcastle - team newspublished at 16:43 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Arsenal v Newcastle (17:30 GMT)

Sweeping changes from Arsenal manager Mike Arteta - but plenty of familiar faces.

Captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leads the line, while David Luiz and Willian are among the returning players.

For Newcastle, captain Jamal Lascelles plays for the first time since 21 November after being ill with coronavirus, while goalkeeper Martin Dubravka makes his first start of the season after a heel injury.

The pair are among seven changes for the Magpies from Sunday's home defeat against Leicester.

Oh it just doesn't look like being Stevenage's day as they spurn a golden chance to pull one back. The hosts are awarded a spot kick after a handball in the box but Luke Norris' effort is saved.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 16:42 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

A spicy finish like a good Merlot in store here.

Doncaster's Cameron John and Blackburn's Harvey Elliott both go into the box after the tackles fly in and the pushing starts.

    Bristol Rovers 2-3 Sheffield United

    Michael Brown
Former Leeds midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Since Sheffield United got that quick goal they have been in control and been in charge of the late proceedings of this game. Bristol Rovers will try and fire some balls forward - and I believe they will get a chance. It's all about Sheffield United now. Can they get that fourth goal and see it off?

  16. Watch: Bogle restores Blades' leadpublished at 16:42 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

Is this going to be the goal that ends Sheffield United's near six-month wait for a win?

  18. goal

GOAL - Blackpool 2-2 West Brompublished at 16:40 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Matheus Pereira (pen, 80 mins)

    Relief for Sam Allardyce.

Just as Blackpool were beginning to look comfortable with their lead too.

Matheus Pereira makes no mistakes from the spot to set up an interesting last 10 minutes at Bloomfield Road!

  19. goal

GOAL - Stoke 0-4 Leicesterpublished at 16:40 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    The floodgates have opened!

James Justin whips in a left-footed cross and it's only cleared as far as Harvey Barnes, who gets his foot over the ball to fire a lovely finish beyond Josef Bursik in the Stoke goal.

  20. PENALTY - West Brompublished at 16:39 Greenwich Mean Time 9 January 2021

    Blackpool 2-1 West Brom

A lifeline for West Brom, as Kamil Grosicki's cross strikes Oliver Turton's outsretched arm on the edge of the penalty area.
