Callum Paterson's attempt to launch a long throw into the box from the left fails to find a team-mate as they look for an alternative angle of attack.

Nathan Byrne almost dodges and weaves his way all the way through the Wednesday defence down the right.

Eight of those kick off at 15:00 GMT while Stoke City face Bournemouth in an evening fixture from 19:45 GMT.

As we've just mentioned, two others have sadly had to be postponed earlier this evening due to Covid-19 outbreaks.

Matches have also been dropping for the past couple of days from Leagues One and Two, but as it stands, there's a further 17 matches from those two divisions as well.

A couple of tomorrow's matches in the Championship have been called off in the past hour or so due to Covid-19.

Outbreaks in the Bristol City and Luton squads means their respective games at Brentford and at home to QPR are postponed.

That follows several postponements in the rest of the EFL. Worrying times.

Away from Hillsborough this evening, there's also two matches taking place in the Premier League.

Everton and West Ham is also goalless at the break while Manchester United host Aston Villa in the other game later from 20:00 GMT.

Half-time arrives after Louie Sibley has a bit of a knock for Derby and then has to hobble off a few seconds early.

Hoepfully he'll be back for the resumption and some goals will also come with him.

Nothing between these two so far.

Derby's momentum has just stalled a bit in the past few minutes.

They have certainly enjoyed the better of the chances and possession so far but still no reward for Wayne Rooney's side.

Well, the good news for Wednesday is that Kadeem Harris is back up and running.

But that is indeed it for Josh Windass as he is replaced by Elias Kachunga.

Josh Windass is also in a bit of discomfort here for Wednesday.

Looks like his evening is over before half-time as he hobbles off clutching his hamstring.

A rare foray forward for Wednesday.

Kadeem Harris with plenty of running down the right gets him to the edge of the penalty box.

He can't quite direct his cross towards Josh Windass arriving in the middle and David Marshall gathers.

Harris though is down on the deck now receiving some treatment after a knock on the foot.

Again Derby come close.

Wednesday fail to clear a corner on three occasions and then the ball finds its way to Krystian Bielik on the edge of the penalty area.

He lashes a left-foot effort but it swerves wide of the left post.

It's the crossbar that denies Colin Kazim-Richards this time.

A brilliant diagonal cross in from the left by Craig Forsyth picks out the run of Kazim-Richards unmarked and his header leaves Joe Wildsmith stuck in no man's land with nothing to do.

Thankfully for him and Wednesday, the ball bounces back off the bar and away to safety.
