    Man City 1-0 Birmingham City

It's looking like a long afternoon for Birmingham City.

Pep Guardiola's side are hovering around 80% possession and are moving the ball around so freely.

The visitors can't get near them.

  2. Postpublished at 13:47 Greenwich Mean Time 10 January 2021

    Crawley Town 0-0 Leeds United

Ian Poveda is looking dangerous for Leeds when he gets a chance to run at the Crawley defence. He works a nice one-two with Ezgjan Alioski and drives a low effort on goal from a tight angle, which Glenn Morris does well to keep out.

  3. CLOSE!published at 13:44 Greenwich Mean Time 10 January 2021

    Barnsley 0-0 Tranmere

Barnsley go within a whisker of the opening goal.

Conor Chaplin has too much space to run into and his left-footed strike from outside the box whistles inches past the post.

    Man City 1-0 Birmingham City

    Stephen Warnock
Ex-Leeds and Liverpool defender on BBC TV

It's technique of the highest order.

George Friend should have perhaps put it out of play, but it's all about body position from Bernardo Silva.

What a finish! It is absolutely brilliant.

  5. CLOSE!published at 13:43 Greenwich Mean Time 10 January 2021

    Chelsea 0-0 Morecambe

Almost a stunning opening goal for Morecambe.

Adam Phillips whips in a cross that catches Kepa Arrizabalaga out but the Spaniard somehow recovers to stop it on the line. Half-hearted appeals that it went over the line fall on deaf ears.

    Promising for Morecambe though.

Hmmm, already Leeds dont look like their normal selves. No quick inter play just long balls. Going to be a close one this.

    Bernardo Silva (8 mins)

What a finish this is, my word!

That is superb technique by Bernardo Silva.

George Friend heads a cross clear, but it only gets as far as Silva who meets the bouncing ball first time on the edge of the penalty and sends it into the top corner.

    A truly excellent finish.

  10. CLOSE!published at 13:39 Greenwich Mean Time 10 January 2021

    Cheltenham 0-1 Mansfield

Cheltenham come so close to an equaliser!

Mansfield fail to clear a cross and Andy Williams heads back across goal but sees his effort cleared off the line.

    A lively game so far!

  11. Postpublished at 13:39 Greenwich Mean Time 10 January 2021

    Chelsea 0-0 Morecambe

Chelsea get into Morecambe's final third easily but there are a lot of bodies behind the ball and it's a strong defensive line from the visitors.

Unsurprisingly Mason Mount's drive is blocked and Emerson skews wide from the edge of the box on the rebound.

    Bristol City 0-0 Portsmouth

Patient start to this one but Antoine Semenyo gets an effort off at goal from distance, it squirms well wide of the Portsmouth goal.

  13. Postpublished at 13:37 Greenwich Mean Time 10 January 2021

    Man City 0-0 Birmingham City

As expected, Manchester City are dominating on the ball at the Etihad, with Birmingham working hard to close their slick opponents down.

Kevin de Bruyne is almost played through, but Birmingham skipper George Friend recovers really well to get a tackle in.

    Mark Schwarzer

Good bit of pressure from Crawley, forcing Kiko Casilla to punch away a corner and winning another. The Leeds goalkeeper pushes it clear once more.

    Chelsea 0-0 Morecambe

The pattern is set straight away here at Stamford Bridge as Morecambe have all 11 men in their own third early on.

A first chance for Timo Werner is a header that drops wide under pressure from Harry Davies.

  17. Postpublished at 13:33 Greenwich Mean Time 10 January 2021

    Crawley Town 0-0 Leeds United

Leeds head straight on the attack with Ian Poveda looking to wriggle free down the left, but Crawley have plenty of bodies behind the ball. The hosts win it back and break down field, with Jack Powell placing a tame effort wide.

The first goal of the day goes to Mansfield Town!

This is a great finish by Stephen McLaughlin.

Jordan Bowery pulls the ball back to the edge of the penalty area and McLaughlin lashes it first time beyond the reach of the diving Joshua Griffiths.
