    Birmingham 0-0 Preston

We're under way in the late game at St Andrew's.

Birmingham have been atrocious at home of late while Preston have lost their past two.

Neither side has been full of goals, but let's hope that can change!

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:43 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2021

    Norwich 2-0 Bristol City

This feels like a last throw of the dice from Bristol City boss Dean Holden.

He brings on midfielders Tyreeq Bakinson and Han-Noah Massengo for Chris Martin and Zak Vyner.

They need something soon. Five minutes to go plus stoppages.

  7. 'Harris under pressure'published at 19:41 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2021

    Cardiff 0-0 QPR

    Dafydd Pritchard
BBC Sport Wales at Cardiff City Stadium

Cardiff manager Neil Harris is under pressure after watching his side lose their past four Championship matches.

Tonight, he's been able to welcome back captain Sean Morrison and top scorer Kieffer Moore from injury in a starting line-up which also includes two new signings, right-back Perry Ng and striker Max Watters.

However, it's QPR who have arguably had the better of an attritional first half under heavy south Walian rain.

Cardiff have just come close to an opening goal, debutant Ng forcing Seny Dieng into an excellent save with a powerful 20-yard shot.

  8. Postpublished at 19:39 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2021

    Norwich 2-0 Bristol City

Todd Cantwell takes his time in the box, picking his spot, but places his effort just wide for Norwich.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:39 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2021

    Cardiff 0-0 QPR

Top double save by visiting keeper Seny Dieng.

First he dives full length to deny Perry Ng a debut goal, then he gets back to his feet to keep out Sean Morrison's follow-up effort.

  10. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 19:37 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2021

    Nottm Forest 0-1 Middlesbrough

Britt Assombalonga is oh so close to a second for Boro.

He heads against the post and the ball then rebounds off Forest keeper Brice Samba and somehow goes over the bar!

  11. Can Birmingham end home blues?published at 19:36 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2021

Aitor Karanka's Birmingham have just about been picking up enough points to keep their heads above water but have lost six in a row at home - not tasting victory at St Andrew's since October.

Mid-table Preston, meanwhile, are having a slightly disappointing season by their high standards and have started 2020 with defeats to Nottingham Forest and Bristol City.

It was Alex Neil's side that had the wretched home form when the sides met three months ago, Birmingham coming away from Deepdale with a 2-1 victory.

  12. Postpublished at 19:35 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2021

    Huddersfield 0-1 Millwall

Lions keeper Bartosz Bialkowski preserves his side's lead, saving Danny Ward's driven effort at his near post.

  13. goal

    He's done it again!

A cross comes in and Jordan Hugill appears to wrestle Bristol City defender Tommy Rowe to the ground.

Play goes on and Max Aarons' cross deflects off a visiting defender, onto Hugill and in - it's a bit fortunate but Norwich have a second.

  14. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:32 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2021

    Norwich 1-0 Bristol City

Bristol City boss Dean Holden makes a positive change as striker Nahki Wells comes on for Kasey Palmer, who has been quiet since the break.

  15. Postpublished at 19:30 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2021

    Huddersfield 0-1 Millwall

Juninho Bacuna goes close for the hosts, drilling an effort wide after being slipped in by Lewis O'Brien.

  16. Postpublished at 19:28 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2021

    Norwich 1-0 Bristol City

There's a bit of tension in the respective dugouts over one or two decisions from the referee - the game has certainly got a touch more feisty.

Bristol City have a spell of possession but the cross at the end of it leads to nothing.

  17. Postpublished at 19:27 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2021

    Cardiff 0-0 QPR

Cardiff midfielder Joe Ralls digs out a shot which Rangers keeper Seny Dieng is equal to.

The Bluebirds have handed a debut to Max Watters, who netted 16 goals in 19 outings for Crawley this season.

He's up front with Kieffer Moore.

  18. Postpublished at 19:23 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2021

    Norwich 1-0 Bristol City

Norwich have picked things up after a slightly sluggish start to the second half.

Emi Buendia's shot is high and wide but the Canaries are back on the front foot.

Bristol City have 25 minutes to find a leveller.

  19. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 19:19 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2021

    Huddersfield 0-1 Millwall

Fraizer Campbell hits the bar from his spot-kick and the ball rebounds up and towards the edge of the area.

    The Lions clear the danger.

A chance to equalise goes begging for the Terriers.

  20. goal

GOAL: Nottm Forest 0-1 Middlesbroughpublished at 19:19 Greenwich Mean Time 20 January 2021

    Britt Assombalonga (14 mins)

Britt Assombalonga scores against his former club to give Boro an early lead at the City Ground!

Forest defenders were expecting an offside flag but it looked like a well-timed run from Jonny Howson's pass and Assombalonga finished first-time from close range.
