  1. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Chelsea 0-0 Leicester

Chelsea get things back under way.

Fingers crossed for some goals soon. I'd take a shot on target to be honest.

    Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

The big worry for Leicester is Jonny Evans going off. Brendan Rodgers called him the 'brains at the back'.

But it was interesting that there was no James Maddison in the starting eleven. Could he have an impact?

Epicmilitaria: I'm taking solice that we have Puli, Havertz, CHO and Giroud to bring in.

CantScriptIt: This could come down to the benches. The cost of Chelsea's could be the difference in quality

I thought I was starting to suffer from football fatigue.

But then I saw this trailer for the Euros. I. Can't. Wait!

  5. 'Chelsea need more from Mount'published at 18:15 British Summer Time 15 May 2021

    Chelsea 0-0 Leicester

    Alan Shearer
Former England striker on BBC One

Chelsea have been in one or two dangerous positions.

They need to get Mason Mount on the ball a little bit more in the second half but I don't think they'll change too much.

The joy for Leicester is going to come down the right-hand side. There is a massive gap in behind Rudiger who is coming up so tight on Iheanacho. I do think Leicester will get in that way.

But now that Evans has gone off, I think the problems may start for Leicester with Chelsea's movement.

  7. 'Chelsea yet to kick into gear'published at 18:11 British Summer Time 15 May 2021

    Chelsea 0-0 Leicester

    Alan Shearer
Former England striker on BBC One

As I said before the game, I thought it would be cagey and tactical.

For Leicester, I think Youri Tielemans has been very good, Luke Thomas and Wesley Fofana too.

I'm just waiting for three or four of the Chelsea players to kick into gear. I'm expecting more from them in the second half.

Watching Chelsea is like watching a non-toothed lion go hunting. You know they’ll find and catch food, but they’ll never be able to bite and eat.

  9. Going to extra time?published at 18:08 British Summer Time 15 May 2021

    Chelsea 0-0 Leicester

This is the first FA Cup final to be goalless at half time since Crystal Palace versus Manchester United in 2016, with the Red Devils going on to win 2-1 after extra time.

It's been a decent first half. There have been a few half chances but defences have been on top. Honours even is about right.

  11. Postpublished at 18:04 British Summer Time 15 May 2021

No shots on target in the first half. Very cagey, not particularly easy on the eye but the thousands of fans inside Wembley are very much enjoying the day anyway.

Things will surely pick up in the second half.

It was a lovely ball in from Youri Tielemans and you'd expect that sort of run from Jamie Vardy.

Chelsea will know that they cannot give him any more half chances. He's the kind of player who will take them.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 18:03 British Summer Time 15 May 2021

    Chelsea 0-0 Leicester

Chelsea have another corner, their sixth of the game, but again it comes to nothing and that's half time.

Youri Tielemans has arguably been the best player on the pitch. He’s so cool on the ball.

Jamie Vardy’s always on the move and always a threat. There was a little too much on Tielemans’ ball but Vardy appreciated the effort.

A superb ball over the top by Youri Tielemans for Jamie Vardy, who gets in-between two defenders but nods his header wide of target.

Timo Werner drives through the middle before his shot is deflected wide for another Chelsea corner.

Reece James sends the ball in but it is a poor delivery and goes behind for a goal kick.

Werner appears to be struggling with an issue. Thomas Tuchel will be hopeful he can get through to half time and they can take a look at him then.

They are really difficult headers. It was shallow ball in and you need very slight touches on them.

Another opportunity for Caglar Söyüncü as he gets on the end of a Luke Thomas free kick but he glances his header wide of the near post.
