Southampton were by far the better team, they had more attempts on goal and Arsenal just were not up for it. It was an opportunity for a lot of players to stamp their authority on it, which they didn't do.

They had one effort on goal, which is not good enough.

That was the big moment for Eddie Nketiah at the end. He couldn't quite control it and had a bit of a slash at it.

It's Wolves up next for Southampton.

The holders are out. Southampton beat Arsenal in the FA Cup for the first time in their history.

The delivery from Arsenal has been poor all day, he just lifted that over the bar and he needs to do a lot better than that.

Danny Ings has been brilliant, after the Covid and everything, his work-rate has been tremendous.

Shane Long is on for Danny Ings. If Southampton get this over the line, they will have had a very good afternoon with both Che Adams and Danny Ings being taken off to rest before the full 90 minutes.
