The last thing you want to do is give away free kicks against a side like this, that was sloppy from Gabriel Jesus.

DGB: Can’t see past a Man City demolition show. But had a soft spot for Cheltenham since L1 promotion. Also think Michael Duff is a top pro and great to see him managing where it started for him.

Cheltenham are excellent at set-pieces. They're going to throw everything at City tonight.

Whether it's a free-kick or corner that ball is going into the box.

They obviously work on it, I spoke to the manager, they do practice them.

They're a threat. They'll be dangerous from that situation.

    Cheltenham 0-0 Man City

Cheltenham break forward and come close themselves but Alfie May just cannot get on the end of a cross at the near post.

There is some concern after as May collides with the advertising hoardings but is OK to continue.

What a start that could have been, a brilliant ball from Mahrez and a great run from Jesus. That will do the keeper a world of good to get the save in in the first few minutes

  13. 'It's absolutely not a penalty'published at 17:29 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2021

FT: Swansea City 5-1 Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest boss Chris Hughton: "The biggest disappointment was having started the game okay - against a really good side - we conceded a poor goal and that gave them a lift.

"It wasn't really until we came out in the second half that we showed how to play in the tie. Having got the goal, we were on the front foot. It's a dreadful decision for the penalty and it's a pivotal point of the game. It changed momemtum, it was our best spell by far and it gave them the lift. Overall we weren't good enough to come out of a very difficult tie but very disappointed with the decision for the penalty.

"Could we have gone on to win the game? We could have retained the momemtum. My first impression was that it wasn't a penalty and that is from this distance. I have seen it three or four times since. It's absolutely not a penalty. The real frustration... the referee comes to speak to me because of my disappointment but it's never a penalty. It changed the momemtum there are no doubts. But we have to be good enough to make sure we don't concede again.

"We lift the boys because we have to. It's the position we are in, in the league. It's a difficult league. Disappointed we lost mid-week but we pick them back up again. After today and the disappointment of today, I will be very surprised if anybody isn't prepared to put in a real shift next Saturday."

The City squad is incredible but today I am glad a few youngsters have got a chance. This is the magic of the FA Cup, this is where you can make your name.

As Micah Richards did with a late equaliser against Aston Villa back in 2006...

  18. ''It has been a good cup run'published at 17:24 Greenwich Mean Time 23 January 2021

    West Ham 4-0 Doncaster

Doncaster boss Darren Moore, speaking to BBC Sport: "The message was clear to my players coming up against that quality of opposition. If you make mistakes, you get punished. There was some good things that we did but ultimately we got punished. It has been a good cup run and we take the rough with the smooth. The players can be pleased at what they have done to help the club out financially. Best of luck to West Ham for the rest of the competition.

"In the cup we have made gradual progress, stepping up a level. This was a big test and we had a mountain to climb after conceding so early. But the thing for us is to learn from it for the remainder of the season and for the players' individual careers.

"This transfer window we are trying to add bodies. Our fixture list, physically it will be impossible for this set of players to maintain"
