    Barcelona 0-0 Athletic Bilbao

Do we really need Super Cups and Community Shields this season? Or the Carabao Cup? Or the Papa John's Trophy? Or the Nations League?

    I could continue.

    Barcelona 0-0 Athletic Bilbao

Great trickery from Barca winger Ousmane Dembele, who sends a defender down to the shops (for essential items only) with some quick feet but then his cross isn't good.

    Inter 1-0 Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo is trying his luck from distance now as Juventus are struggling to break Inter down.

Serie A's top scorer, however, fires straight at Samir Handanovic. It's been a 36 minutes of few changes for the Bianconeri.

    Barcelona 0-0 Athletic Bilbao

Free-kick to Barcelona maybe 30 yards out... but they play it short before the TV director is even ready.

But they win another one in similar range.

    Inter 1-0 Juventus

Romelu Lukaku's is proving to be a hand full for Giorgio Chiellini.

The Belgian is ever so silky as he spins his way past the Italian, who does well to scramble and recover on the edge of the area. A chance eventually presents itself for Lautaro Martinez, but it's wide.

    Inter 1-0 Juventus

Juventus are lucks not to be two down in the first half hour, but they are regaining a sense of composure now.

They is plenty of intricate play from Andrea Pirlo's men, but they are lacking quality delivery into the box. Not for a lack of trying, however.

    Inter 1-0 Juventus

    Huge miss, this!

Lautaro Martinez really should have done better as the ball, from a Wojciech Szczesny save, rebounds into his path in the box.

There was no way back from Szczesny after he dealt with Romelu Lukaku's initial effort. Martinez, however, lacked the needed composure and sends his effort over the bar.

Both goalkeepers get a chance to hold the ball as it goes end to end. There is a very annoying drone/heavy machinery noise at La Cartuja in Seville.

    Inter 1-0 Juventus

That opener has really given Inter some spark going forward. Nothing clear being fashioned, but they press with purpose.

Marcelo Brozovic takes a short corner on the left and thumps an effort on goal. Wojciech Szczesny easily gathers.

It's been an entertaining first 20 minutes.
