'Going through the motions' is not what you want from a team seven points from safety, is it?

    Schmeichel's got nothing to do.

He's caught the ball a few times and had a couple of kicks.

Fulham are going through the motions right now.

Fulham have yet to have a shot on target. I doubt this counts. The ball hits Harrison Reed and another player and lands in the gloves of Kasper Schmeichel.

Leeds United, playing at home for only the second time in seven matches in all competitions, make just the one change from the side that defeated Leicester 3-1 on Sunday.

In comes Mateusz Klich, with Spain international Rodrigo missing out altogether.

Leeds: Meslier, Alioski, Struijk, Cooper, Ayling, Phillips, Harrison, Klich, Dallas, Raphinha, Bamford.

Substitutes: Casilla, Davis, Cresswell, Hernandez, Shackleton, Jenkins, Roberts, Costa, Huggins.

Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford misses out for Everton after sustaining a rib injury in the 2-0 home loss to Newcastle on Saturday so Robin Olsen, on loan from Roma, makes only his third appearance in the Premier League.

Elsewhere, Seamus Coleman, Michael Keane and James Rodriguez drop to the bench, with Mason Holgate, Ben Godfrey and Andre Gomes coming in.

Fabian Delph is on the bench and in the squad for the first time since a hamstring injury against Burnley on 5 December. Striker Joshua King, signed on a deal until the end of the season from Bournemouth on transfer deadline day, is also a substitute.

Everton: Olsen, Godfrey, Holgate, Mina, Digne, Doucoure, Gomes, Sigurdsson, Iwobi, Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin.

Substitutes: Virginia, Keane, Delph, King, Nkounkou, Bernard, Coleman, Davies.

    Fulham 0-1 Leicester

I have no doubt Leicester defender Caglar Soyuncu could play one of the elves in Lord of the Rings without needing any hair or make-up doing. A great head of hair.

Turf Moor has always been a happy place for city. Hopefully jesus can take advantage tonight and get some confidence going into Liverpool game.

    Sean in Manchester

Not sure why people think Burnley down tools or don't put the effort in against City - I've no doubt Sean Dyche would love nothing better than to give us a bloody nose. Perhaps City just give Burnley the respect they deserve and perform accordingly?

City haven't had a real chance since the goal. Their only other shot on or off target bar the goal was Bernardo Silva's shot - which led to the goal.

Leicester almost double their lead. Fulham fail to clear a cross and Caglar Soyuncu's shot is straight at Alphonse Areola.

Burnley have a cross which City clear, that's about as good as it's been for them. They've had two touches in City's box which I don't really remember.

It's an unbelievable ball in from James Maddison.

It is a striker's dream. Iheanacho, 12 yards out, that's lovely for a striker.

You've just got to be in the right place at the right time.

Mitrovic would've been hoping he'd get a cross like that at the other end.

    Fulham 0-1 Leicester

That was Kelechi Iheanacho's first Premier League goal in 15 games.

James Maddison has provided four assists in 20 Premier League games this season, one more than he made in 31 last term.

    Burnley 0-1 Man City

    Pat Nevin
Former Everton and Scotland winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

You don't think of Man City as a long ball team, they're 40-50 yard passes. But they're the right ones because they're playing against a defence that get very tight, the defenders all get tight together leaving space outside - the concept being 'OK you can have a go out wide and we'll defend any cross that comes in'.

The problem is that Man City tend to get to the byeline, it's not a cross, it's a cut back and it doesn't matter how good you are that is the hardest ball in the game to stop.

  17. goal

GOAL - Fulham 0-1 Leicesterpublished at 18:18 Greenwich Mean Time 3 February 2021

    Kelechi Iheanacho (17 mins)

Leicester aren't missing Jamie Vardy in the box here as Kelechi Iheanacho heads them into the lead.

James Maddison crosses from deep and Iheanacho moves his body shape quickly to head home from about 10 yards.

Aleksandar Mitrovic looks off the pace any time I see him. Ademola Lookman picks out the Fulham striker, who is about 10 yards out but weakly hits it at a defender.

Leicester break and Harvey Barnes shoots over from 16 yards.
