Man City 1-0 Sheff Utd
You: What's happening at the Etihad?
Me (no matter when you've asked that question since the goal): Oh City are on the ball but not creating any proper chances.

Crystal Palace 1-0 Wolves
Straight into it. Two men on him and Adama Traore goes direct. Wins a corner.
West Brom 1-1 Fulham
Is Ruben Loftus-Cheek pushed over inside the box by Kyle Bartley? He screams for a penalty but Anthony Taylor doesn't agree. He did go down very easily.
Crystal Palace 1-0 Wolves
Ki-Jana Hoever is off. On comes Adama Traore. Can he make a difference?

That was a big chance for Jayden Bogle. Man City had two opportunities to clear it then, they didn't take either but Bogle gets it horribly wrong.
David McGoldrick is coming on, he'll play a bit deeper than Rhian Brewster who really didn't have much impact on the game.
West Brom 1-1 Fulham
Fulham have weathered the pressure from that good start to the second half by West Brom but are yet to get going again themselves as an attacking force.
Not a great deal happening at the moment. Finely poised.
Eberechi Eze (59 mins)
What a hit!!!
Nathaniel Clyne pokes it inside to Jordan Ayew. He tees up Eberechi Eze on the edge but he drops a shoulder and beats the defender.
He then thumps it into the back of the net with real power out of nowhere.
Wow.
Man City 1-0 Sheff Utd
Sheffield United bring on David McGoldrick - who literally only scores Premier League goals against the top sides - for Rhian Brewster.
Crystal Palace 0-0 Wolves
This is better...
Willian Jose and Daniel Podence play a nice one-two on the edge of the box but there's too many Palace defenders in the way.
Joao Moutinho slides in to nick it back immediately off Cheikhou Kouyate but Pedro Neto's cross doesn't come to anything.
Man City 1-0 Sheff Utd
Sheffield United have a chance. It's good wing play by Oli Burke, who crosses. Bernardo Silva half-clears and Jayden Bogle volleys over.

Crystal Palace 0-0 Wolves
Patrick van Aanholt slips it inside to Wilfried Zaha and continues his run on the overlap.
It's a nice distraction, which Zaha takes advantage of, but he curls his effort way wide. Thumbs up from him to van Aanholt though.
Moments later, Daniel Podence whips in a dangerous ball from the right and he picks out new man Willian Jose. He hits it on the half-volley but it's well saved by Vicente Guaita.
Shot on target!!

Come on West Brom! Let's ditch all these negative comments and vibes and press on for the win!!
Jon
West Brom 1-1 Fulham
Matheus Pereira has a go from 25 yards and he gets good power behind the shot but it always going wide.
Much better from West Brom, though. They finally look like a side that is fighting to stay up.
Crystal Palace 0-0 Wolves
Patrick van Aanholt tries to sneak in behind but it's picked out by Willy Boly. Joao Moutinho then slices it out for a throw-in from the edge of the box.

BBC Sport at the Etihad Stadium
This time next week, there will be the option of concussion substitutes should players clash heads as Phil Foden and John Lundstram did just then.
Both players are able to continue anyway thankfully but it has been a long wait for a fairly straightforward rule.
Two concussion substitutes will be available, with the opposition getting an extra one each time in return.
Man City 1-0 Sheff Utd
Gabriel Jesus ghosts in behind John Egan as he bids to get onto a cross but Aaron Ramsdale is off his line first to grab - and clatter the Brazilian in the process.
Crystal Palace 0-0 Wolves
It's all a bit side-to-side from Wolves so far. Palace are sat in their half defending but there's no real urgency from either team. No hard pressing and no intensity from the Wolves' passing. Hmm.
Man City 1-0 Sheff Utd
Ian Dennis on 5 Live informs us that Gabriel Jesus's goal was Man City's 650th under Pep Guardiola, who is looking for his 500th win of a senior managerial career of just 673 games.
Victory today would also take him past 400 points in the Premier League.
Quite good then.

Whatever his team talk was, Big Sam has definitely woken up these West Brom players.
