    FT: Bournemouth 2-1 Crawley

Sweet Caroline is blasting out over the tannoy at the Vitality Stadium.

It's a good night's work for the hosts who will now travel to Burnley in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Wednesday, 10 February.

    Here's how things unfolded...

  3. FULL-TIMEpublished at 90+6 mins

    Bournemouth 2-1 Crawley

Bournemouth hold on. If you can call it that. They had 29 shots to Crawley's six but just couldn't ever get a two-goal cushion.

  4. Postpublished at 90+3 mins

    Bournemouth 2-1 Crawley

That's good defending from Bournemouth, who have everyone back.

A red and black shirt heads well away. Not long now.

  5. Postpublished at 90+3 mins

    Bournemouth 2-1 Crawley

Crawley forward Tom Nichols is down as Lloyd Kelly gets a booking for a hefty challenge out wide.

Chance to get the ball in the mixer.

  6. Postpublished at 90+1 mins

    Bournemouth 2-1 Crawley

    Six minutes added.

What have Crawley got left? They have held on for so long.

    They couldn't, could they?

  7. Postpublished at 90 mins

    Bournemouth 2-1 Crawley

Now can Bournemouth finally get the job done. David Brooks has another go fires over. Awful effort.

  8. Postpublished at 88 mins

    Bournemouth 2-1 Crawley

    What. A. Chance.

Crawley throw men forward in search of an equaliser and almost get one.

Joe McNerney gets his head on Jack Powell's delivery from the right but Bournemouth keeper Asmir Begovic just about clings on to it under pressure.

  9. Postpublished at 86 mins

    Bournemouth 2-1 Crawley

Will all Bournemouth's missed chances come back to haunt them?

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 83 mins

    Bournemouth 2-1 Crawley

A fifth change for Bournemouth. Sam Surridge replaces Josh King.

    Bournemouth 2-1 Crawley

Another big chance goes begging for Bournemouth. How many times have I wrote that sort of thing. It's getting ridiculous.

This time Steve Cook powers a header wide from David Brooks' corner. I was expecting to see the net bulge there.

  12. Postpublished at 80 mins

    Bournemouth 2-1 Crawley

Great chance for Bournemouth to wrap this one up.

Lewis Cook is the creator, Josh King can't find away past the defiant presence of Crawley keeper Glenn Morris

Moments later the Crawley number one repeats his trick smothering another King effort.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 78 mins

    Bournemouth 2-1 Crawley

Rodrigo Riquelme replaces Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld for Bournemouth.

He's put in a very decent shift tonight.

  14. Postpublished at 72 mins

    Bournemouth 2-1 Crawley

Has David Brooks left his shooting boots at home?

The Bournemouth midfielder tries to put the tie to bed but sees his left-foot shot saved by Glenn Morris.

That's his fifth and arguably best effort on goal this evening.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 67 mins

    Bournemouth 2-1 Crawley

With that goal Bournemouth ring the changes.

Jefferson Lerma, Dominic Solanke and Adam Smith are on to replace Philip Billing, Jack Wilshere and Jack Stacey.

Wilshere looked very accomplished early on. He can now put those minutes in the bank.

    Josh King

So simple. Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld has been a livewire for Bournemouth all evening and probably deserves a bundle of credit as they go back in front.

The Netherlands winger dances in off the wing beating several Crawley defenders before teeing up Josh King. King takes a touch and then drives a low effort into the bottom left corner.

  17. Postpublished at 62 mins

    Bournemouth 1-1 Crawley

    Bournemouth had their warning.

Now what can they do to get themselves back in front? Is this a chance? Yep, but Jack Wilshere can't find the onion bag this time.

That was a pretty similar position to the one he scored from.

    Tom Nichols

Hello. That's the perfect response as far as Crawley are concerned.

Tom Nichols latches on to Josh Wright's flick and guides a close-range effort home.

Was he offside? It looks a tight decision, this will stand.

  19. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 58 mins

    Bournemouth 1-0 Crawley

Is that a penalty? Crawley think so. Tom Nichols goes over while being challenged by Lloyd Kelly.

Referee Andre Marriner isn't having any of it though and Ashley Nadesan and Nichols are both booked during the protests.

  20. Postpublished at 55 mins

    Bournemouth 1-0 Crawley

Blimey what are Bournemouth doing at the back?!?! That could have ended in disaster.

Steve Cook lays the ball off to keeper Asmir Begovic, whose touch is heavy. That allows Ashley Nadesan to nip in but Tom Nichols can't turn the ball home from 12 yards or so when it breaks to him.

Looks like Jack Stacey saved the home side's blushes.
