Opportunity knocks this evening for third-placed Watford as they target a chance to move into the top two.

A draw would be enough at Millwall to take them above Swansea City, who host fourth-placed Brentford on Wednesday.

But Xisco Munoz's side will be eyeing-up the chance to make it four straight wins after victories over Huddersfield, Barnsley and Stoke in recent weeks.

Millwall meanwhile are looking to make it back-to-back league wins after an away win at Huddersfield six days ago.

Another three points tonight could move them up a couple of places up to 14th.

Tenth meets 14th at Ashton Gate this evening as two sides currently off the play-off pace hope they can get into a groove at the right time.

Bristol City breezed into the FA Cup fifth round at the weekend with a handsome win at Millwall, but they will know the visit of Huddersfield presents the chance to gain ground on the Championship top six.

Dean Holden's side could move level with seventh-placed Middlesbrough with a win and their past two home league encounters have seen them come out victorious.

Huddersfield meanwhile are on a three-match losing run and in need of a change in momentum.

Another defeat tonight would leave them still searching for points in 2021.

    Here we go again....

Another evening of mid-season league action.

The seemingly-non-stop carousel of EFL action continues this Tuesday evening, despite the best efforts of the weather to prevent it, with fixtures across all three divisions on the way (and some already under way).

Stay tuned for a Tuesday night hopefully full of goals and talking points.
