    Real Madrid 0-0 Getafe

This half has pretty much started like the last with Getafe on the attack. But this time there is some teeth to it.

Francisco Portillo gets down the right and whips a ball across goal. But Angel Rodriguez's spectacular attempt at an overhead whistles over the bar.

Still more promise from the visitors.

If you are wondering just who this Marvin Park fella is that I've been on about in the first period give this piece a quick read.

The Prenton Park production line at its finest.

Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan (2-1 agg)

The second half is five minutes old in Turin. As it stands Juventus are heading into the final of the Coppa Italia where they will face either Atalanta or Napoli.

Those sides meet on Wednesday, with the tie level at 0-0 after the first leg in Naples.

    HT: Real Madrid 0-0 Getafe

If Real Madrid can just find a bit more rhythm in the final third you'd have to fancy them.

It has been pretty much one-way traffic.

Getafe did not manage a shot on goal in the first half. In fact they didn't even have a corner.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:49 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2021

    Real Madrid 0-0 Getafe

Would love to have say that this game has been packed with attempts on goal and bits of individual brilliance. Sadly not.

    Real Madrid 0-0 Getafe

Getafe midfielder Marc Cucurella gives Marvin Park the treatment on the touchline, slamming into the Real wide man after the ball had gone.

That's a free-kick and a curly finger from the ref.

Real forward Karim Benzema works a yard but sees his effort blocked.

    Nothing doing.

David Soria didn't know anything about that. Real carve through the Getafe midfield and the ball drops to Luka Modric 20 yards or so from goal.

The Croatia midfielder hits a zinger with his left peg and sees the Getafe keeper somehow flick it away with his feet, although just how, I'm still not sure.

    Corner it is.

    Real Madrid 0-0 Getafe

Getafe going nowhere fast when they attack. The visitors seem to hit a force field whenever they get 20 yards inside the Real half.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2021

Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan (2-1 agg)

Can you believe it? Juve's Cristiano Ronaldo is denied not once but twice a couple of minutes before the break.

Inter will be relieved about that as they trot off for a isotonic drink or whatever they have these days at the break.

    Still delicately poised.

    Real Madrid 0-0 Getafe

That was travelling from Marvin Park, who drills a ball towards goal. I suspect that was a cross rather than a shot but Getafe keeper David Soria is grateful to grab it all the same.

  14. Postpublished at 24 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Getafe

The hosts are dominant here with around 70% possession but they are yet to find a goal, or even an effort on target if you discount that Karim Benzema header.

Lovely whipped ball from Marvin Park but nobody gambled at the back stick. What was I saying earlier about the Real Madrid youngster...

Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan (2-1 agg)

Inter Milan have not scored in their last six visits to face Juventus in Turin, conceding nine in the process. But is that about to change?

Christian Eriksen and Lautaro Martinez have both had chances but see the ball smuggled away to safety by the hosts, who are just on the back foot at the minute.

  17. Postpublished at 18 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Getafe

The hosts still very much look in charge. Marvin Park and Vinicius Junior are both looking the business out wide. That said they both look like they are in acres of space all the time.

If Real can switch the ball a tad quicker, you feel they could get in.

  18. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 14 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Getafe

Salmon-like from Karim Benzema. The French forward gets up highest at the back stick but hits the crossbar with a header from Marco Asensio's corner.

  19. Postpublished at 11 mins

    Real Madrid 0-0 Getafe

Getafe, are the lowest scorers in La Liga this season with just 17 goals from their 21 matches so far.

And to be honest, you can tell. The hosts are being given every chance to grow into this one.

  20. Postpublished at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2021

Juventus 0-0 Inter Milan (2-1 agg)

Still no score in Turin, which will suit 13-time Coppa Italia winners Juventus just fine.

Inter did have an early penalty shout when Lautaro Martinez went down, but it looked like he caught Juve's Federico Bernardeschi, rather than the other way round.
