Shout out to Ciaran Clark and Jamaal Lascelles. Both have been excellent at the heart of Newcastle's defence. Martin Dubravka has been solid on his return. Will he mark his appearance with a clean sheet?

His side are deservedly leading Wolves but two of his key men Miguel Almiron and Allan Saint-Maximin have been forced off injured.

There's a long way to go but Newcastle deserve their lead. Will they keep it? The visitors haven't been able to get Adama Traore into the game this half.

Paul Collins: 9 wolves players in their own penalty area and Lascelles still manages to score. Have Wolves considered the idea that they might score more and win more if they actually tried win the game rather than just be so defensive and hoping for luck?

I cannot praise Allan Saint-Maximin's performance enough. He's been immense. He had three Wolves players around him but still managed to produce a cross which was only half cleared for Fraser to set up Lascelles for the goal. Wonderful stuff.

That is Jamaal Lascelles' first Premier League goal since October 2019, which also came against Wolves.
