    That's it then.

Thank you for following along with us for a friendly that let's be honest, none of us will remember in a few days, or even hours.

But the main thing is there were no injuries and all the major players got important match minutes.

Let's do it all again in a week when the stakes will be much higher.

I am glad we are playing Italy last. Switzerland is the big one for us.

We can't afford to lose it. I think we have actually got to go and win it.

I know it's a big thing that you don't lose, but I think we have got to go for it.

It’s about the system. The second half was super-exciting and we feel like we are going to the tournament with hope.

Aaron Ramsey, Gareth Bale, Joe Allen, Joe Rodon, Chris Mepham, Ben Davies – they all pick themselves.

Then you have a choice of keepers and one or two other choices.

I don't think Kieffer Moore will start [against Switzerland]. I think he will go with Harry Wilson up front.

You have the option then to bring Kieffer on.

I think it's debatable if we go with a flat back four or three centre-backs.

  7. 'No injuries most important thing' - Daviespublished at 18:55 British Summer Time 5 June 2021

    FT: Wales 0-0 Albania

Wales defender Ben Davies told Sky Sports: “It was a tough game, it didn’t really go our way.

“There is a lot to work on this week, but no injuries, that’s the most important thing.

“Aaron [Ramsey] seems to be fine.

“It was a proper game for a friendly. There is a lot to work on but better we’ve got it out the way.

“We’ve had a good few weeks of preparation and will get started for the tournament.”

That was poor first half and a great second half.

It looked like two different sides through one substitution, bringing Kieffer Moore on and changing it to a flat back four.

My main concern is that against the better sides, if we don't change it early, it could be game over.

The teams we are playing against in the Euros are going to be a lot better than the Albanians.

The tempo was fantastic in the second half. It looked as though we had a lot of energy. We got our act together and deserved to win.

It's not quite the farewell Wales wanted but it was much better second half.

The Red Wall stand in appreciation knowing the big one is in a week's time.

  10. FULL-TIME - Wales 0-0 Albaniapublished at 18:48 British Summer Time 5 June 2021

    That's that.

A friendly match that somehow produced seven yellow cards, but few shots and few talking points.

    Great to hear fans back.

Wales improved markedly after half time.

We will bring you some reaction as soon as we can.

I am just looking at Rob Page there. He is having a go at Kieffer Moore for not coming across, but sometimes you don't want him in that channel.

You want him to stay in the middle. Then if you cross it, you have got your striker in the box.

Two minutes to be added on to a game that has looked like being a 0-0 draw for a long, long time.

If there is one criticism, it is that we have not tested the Albanian keeper enough.

When you play against Switzerland and Turkey, you have got to take any chances that come your way.

Even if it ends up a draw, Wales' players will feel like they have won.

If you watch this 90 minutes, the two halves are night and day.

You have got two passers in midfield, Smith and Levitt.

They are just picking them off.

Qazim Laci has only been on for a few minutes, but he is booked for fouling Jonny Williams.

Chris Mepham is also shown a yellow card, as is Amir Abrashi.

    An unfriendly friendly, this one.

My only concern is that we did this too late.

We could have been a couple of goals down [had we been playing] against a better side.

Is that a new chant from the Wales fans? To the tune of the Yaya / Kolo Toure:

"Neco, Neco, Neco, Neco, Neco, Neco, Neco Williams.

"Jonny, Jonny, Jonny, Jonny, Jonny, Jonny, Jonny Williams."

    Marvellous.

Wales send on Jonny Williams to replace David Brooks.
