That was incredible. As the new cliche goes, that sounded like a LOT more than the 6,500 allowed in here.

  4. Can you name all Wales' goalscorers since Euro 2016?

    Wales v Albania (17:00 BST)

Wales failed to find the net in Wednesday night's 3-0 Euro 2020 warm-up defeat against France, their 12th blank since the last European Championship.

Over the last five years they have scored 49 goals - but can you remember the scorers?

Two were own goals, so can you name the 14 Wales internationals who have hit the net in the 43 games since they came home from France after losing their Euro 2016 semi-final to Portugal?

You have three minutes to see how many you can recall, with a few assists to help you hit the target!

  5. Colwill dodged Cardiff cut to make Wales grade

    Wales v Albania (17:00 BST)

Speaking of youngsters, there were a few eyebrows raised when uncapped Rubin Colwill made Wales' 26-man squad for Euro 2020.

But the meteoric rise of the 19-year-old attacking midfielder is even more incredible when he could have been cut by club side Cardiff City last year.

Cardiff Under-23 manager Steve Morrison admits Colwill could have departed.

"A year ago we're... discussing who's going to be retained and released for the upcoming season and Rubin was a discussion," Morrison said.

Ten-man Wales Under-21s were held to a goalless draw by Moldova in their Uefa U21 Euro 2023 qualifying opener in Llanelli last night.

  14. 'Amazing' to have fans back

    Wales v Albania (17:00 BST)

Captain Gareth Bale says it will be "amazing" for Wales to play in front of their fans for the first time since 2019 when they face Albania in their final friendly before Euro 2020.

There will be up to 6,500 at the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday for one of the Welsh Government's pilot events for the safe return of spectators.

On Monday Wales fly to Baku, where they face Switzerland in their opening Euro 2020 match on 12 June.

  15. Post update

    Wales v Albania (17:00 BST)

    Iwan Roberts

Former Wales striker and BBC pundit

I fancy us today. I think we'll beat Albania. They are a very, very young side - I think seven of their starting XI are 24 or younger.

I haven't got a clue what shape we are going to go with. I have gone with a five at the back, the same as we did against France.

But we'll have to wait and see as you can never second guess Robert Page.

  16. Williams free to face Albania despite France red card

    Wales v Albania (17:00 BST)

So Neco Williams is available for Wales today and indeed starts.

Wales were boosted for Saturday's Euro 2020 warm-up against Albania as Neco Williams was deemed free to play, despite being sent off in Wednesday's 3-0 friendly defeat by France.

The Football Association of Wales (FAW) found it had jurisdiction over the disciplinary process.

Fifa told the FAW the matter was one for Uefa, which does not "legislate for sanctions related to friendly matches".

The FAW "sanctioned Williams directly" and allowed him to face Albania.

  17. Team news - Albania make seven changes

    Wales v Albania (17:00 BST)

Albania make seven changes from their 2-0 World Cup qualifying win over San Marino in March.

Like Wales, Albania will also line up with three at the back.

Goalkeeper Gentian Selmani, defender Ardian Ismajli and Marash Kumbulla, wing-back Albi Doka, midfielder Endri Cekici, captain Amir Abrashi and forward Bekim Balaj are the players to come in.

Albania: Selmani; Ismajli, Kumbulla, Djimsiti; Doka, Cekici, Bare, Abrashi, Lenjani; Manaj, Balaj.

  18. Team news - Ramsey and Davies start for Wales

    Wales v Albania (17:00 BST)

Wales ring the changes from Wednesday's 3-0 friendly defeat against France, with eight in total.

The only three who retain their places are midfielder Joe Allen, centre-back Chris Mepham and full-back Neco Williams, who is available despite being sent off 25 minutes into the match in Nice.

Two big positives for Wales: Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey and Tottenham defender Ben Davies start as they aim to prove their fitness in time for next Saturday's opening Euro 2020 fixture against Switzerland.

Wales interim boss Robert Page has hinted in recent weeks that he might use Ramsey as a false nine at some point.

Wales: Hennessey; Ampadu, Mepham, B. Davies; N. Williams, Levitt, Allen, Norrington-Davies; Brooks, T. Roberts, Ramsey.

  19. Welcome back to fans!

    Wales v Albania (17:00 BST)

    Hello and welcome.

Today is the last time we will get together to do this live page lark before the European Championships. It is just one week from Wales' first proper game in Baku.

    Things are getting serious.

In the meantime, Albania are the visitors to the Cardiff City Stadium for a game where we will hopefully all be talking about the long overdue return of fans to a Wales game, rather than any last minute bumps, bruises or issues ahead of the Euros.

So let's forget all about Wales' less than nice trip to Nice and have a look at those teams, shall we?
