Shocking scenes again, it is unnecessary from the fans.

As soon as Raheem Sterling scored I thought 'here we go again'. You knew something was going to happen. It is beyond a joke now.

The governing bodies have to be consistent and they have to group together and eradicate it. It is not on, it is not good enough.

Disappointing but credit to the England players for being professional and getting the job done but they shouldn't have to go through that.

    It is a joke.

  2. Spain's loooooooooong run endspublished at 21:46 British Summer Time 2 September 2021

    All over in Stockholm.

Spain have suffered their first World Cup qualifying defeat since 1993 as Sweden came from behind to end La Roja's 66-game run.

Carlos Soler volleyed Luis Enrique's Spain into an early lead on his international debut.

But just 12 seconds after kick-off Alexander Isak took advantage of a defensive mistake to slam home.

Viktor Claesson controlled Dejan Kulusevski's pass before firing in a famous winner from 12 yards out.

The previous team to beat Spain in a World Cup qualifier were Sweden's neighbours, Denmark, in March 1993 in Copenhagen.

For all the celebrations from England's performance tonight, the disappointing side has now turned to monkey chants from the Ultras, the stand behind the goal that England are attacking.

I definitely heard one and saw it with my own eyes, aimed toward Jude Bellingham, when hew was warming up. Another plastic cup was thrown and he reacted with his fingers and carried on.

Then came the monkey chants and there have been four different reports of that. Raheem Sterling was also targeted after Harry Kane's goal.

It's all over as Germany beat Liechtenstein 2-0.

Liechtenstein's former Oxford goalkeeper Benji Buchel touched the ball 64 times, 29 times more than any of his outfield team-mates.

Northern Ireland have beaten Lithuania 4-1 away from home, a great result.

Estonia have pulled one back against Belgium, who still lead 5-2, and Romania are 2-0 up away to Iceland. Poland lead Albania 4-1 now.

Job done. In highly-impressive fashion by a ruthless England.

Group I is firmly in the control of the Three Lions.

We have a Hungary player down getting treatment now. This will extend the game a bit. It's Kevin Varga. Looks like he may have caused some damage to his Achilles.

    One minute to go.

Kalvin Phillips is still tracking men and making tackles. He's a machine.

This has been a magnificent display. Especially the second half. They took all the sting out of Hungary in the first and then slowly, methodically, ruthlessly took them apart after the break.

Declan Rice's final act is to celebrate that goal. On comes Jordan Henderson.

Soon after, Bukayo Saka replaces Jack Grealish.

    Declan Rice

Cake, say hello to some icing!

Declan Rice owes Hungary keeper Peter Gulacsi for this. The West Ham midfielder drives a shot from deep that the home shot-stopper fails to stop, the ball creeping under him and in.

Now it's a proper rout. Good.

This game was signed and sealed a long time ago. England cruising now. Bit of keep-ball just to grind in the superiority.

Off goes Laszlo Kleinheisler. On comes Daniel Gazdag.

ITV have just reported that there has been some racist chanting aimed at England players from the home fans. We hoped it wouldn't happen. Naively.

England needing to take a moment here, restore some calm.

A Hungary man goes down in the box but despite howls from the stands there is no penalty there to award.

If 4-1 is a rout, then it's a rout in Lithuania as Paddy McNair scores from the penalty spot.

Jordan Pickford is finally tested. England can't clear, with Hungary presenting a chance for Daniel Salloi to drive a rising shot. Pickford is right behind it to parry.

    Should be four, part two!

Harry Kane is sent away by Jack Grealish. The striker waits, picks his spot and fires low at Peter Gulacsi's feet.

Kane could (and probably should) have a hat-trick tonight.

    Hungary 0-3 England

    Should be four!

Raheem Sterling is away. He has just the keeper to beat and does so by rounding him, but his effort is fluffed, allowing Peter Gulacsi to get back and save.

    Might have been offside.
