    Shane Duffy’s equaliser was the Republic of Ireland’s first home goal in seven hours and 32 minutes, since Matt Doherty netted against Denmark in November 2019.

    Finland, Wales, Bulgaria and Luxembourg came away from Dublin with a clean sheet since then.
