    England 1-1 Hungary

A couple more changes for Hungary.

Meanwhile, England have a free-kick in a dangerous position, can they make anything of it?

Hold on, the sub is being subbed. Tammy Abraham hobbles off and on comes Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins.

Gooooal! Made in the Premier League. Ruben Neves supplies the assist to Cristiano Ronaldo. Portugal 5-0 Luxembourg.

  4. CLOSE!

    England 1-1 Hungary

The magic is almost conjured up by the little magician Phil Foden, curling in a sumptuous cross which Peter Gulacsi has to come flying off his line to punch clear.

Luke Shaw sends it back in and Tammy Abraham heads wide with an open goal to aim at but the flag is up for offside.

Matty AFC: Only just been able to start watching the game. Why are England playing five at the back in a home match where they are fairly heavy favourites? And why is a left footed winger playing right back?

  6. Post update

    England 1-1 Hungary

England pushing forward, Luke Shaw sees one, two crosses blocked from down that left flank.

  7. Post update

    England 1-1 Hungary

Five to go and Tammy Abraham nearly stretches a right leg out on Phil Foden's chipped pass.

  8. CLOSE!

    England 1-1 Hungary

England are almost punished as Bukayo Saka loses the ball deep in his own half.

Sub Filip Holender is the beneficiary but he leans back on his shot and curls over the angle.

  9. Post update

    England 1-1 Hungary

England goalscorer John Stones is still down and taking treatment from the physio.

He has his right hand heavily bandaged up.

  10. Post update

    England 1-1 Hungary

John Stones rises highest to meet another header but he gives Akos Kecskes a nudge and the referee blows for a foul.

Stones is hurt after that and we have another break in play.

  11. Post update

    England 1-1 Hungary

We've seen little goalmouth action in this second half, Gareth Southgate went for it with an attacking line-up but they've not really gelled.

Hungary make a couple of changes to eat up some more time.

  12. Post update

    England 1-1 Hungary

    Matt Upson

Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

You wonder if Gareth Southgate feels the balance of the starting XI hasn't worked in this game. Maybe taking off those players will create a more regular area to work in - not too many players crowding in the same area playing to feet, maybe it will unlock more spaces. England haven't created anywhere near as much as we would hope to have done.

  13. SUBSTITUTION

    England 1-1 Hungary

That is Harry Kane's last act, he is replaced by Roma striker Tammy Abraham.

Raheem Sterling is off too with Jordan Henderson entering the action.

    15 minutes remaining at Wembley.

  14. Sweden looking good

Sweden now 2-0 up against Greece courtesy of Alexander Isak and looking good at the top of Group B.

A win here puts Janne Andersson's side in a very good position to qualify for the World Cup finals in Qatar. They head to Georgia and then Spain in November in their final two matches.

  15. CLOSE!

    England 1-1 Hungary

    Harry Kaneeee, no!

It's a horrible screw from the England skipper, out of form and out of luck as a ball falls to him inside the box but he shanks badly wide.

  16. Post update

    England 1-1 Hungary

Hungary can nick one here you know.

Adam Nagy finds space in behind but his drilled cross is hacked clear at the near post by Tyrone Mings.

Dominik Szoboszlai then almost picks out a team-mate but Kyle Walker gets back to intercept.

  17. Northern Ireland fall behind in Bulgaria

Todor Nedelev has just fired home an absolute screamer to put Bulgaria 2-1 up against Northern Ireland.

Meanwhile, Bruno Fernandes tees up a fourth goal of the night for Portugal, with Joao Palhinha the beneficiary.

  18. 'This game is in balance'

    England 1-1 Hungary

    Matt Upson

Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

This game is really in the balance. I've been impressed by Hungary in this second half. I thought they'd be more defensive but they've tried to play. The have the belief they can do it.

  19. Post update

    England 1-1 Hungary

The game is drifting a little, time is ticking away.

But Raheem Sterling almost puts England ahead, played through on goal but poking a shot straight at the onrushing Peter Gulacsi.

  20. SUBSTITUTION

    England 1-1 Hungary

Change for Hungary, Szabolcs Schon is replaced by Filip Holender.
