    Coventry 1-0 Middlesbrough

Chuba Akpom catches Kyle McFadzean and that'll be a yellow.

The Coventry defender is receiving treatment. I expect him to continue though.

It's been a bit slow after that early goal.

    Cardiff 1-0 Derby

Kieffer Moore has done everything but score this evening!

This time the Cardiff striker brings down a long pass brilliantly on his chest, cuts inside and then hits a low shot for the corner that Derby goalkeeper Kelle Roos does well to tip around the post.

The Rams hanging on just now.

  3. Postpublished at 19:29 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2021

    Huddersfield 0-0 Birmingham

A win for the visitors will move them six points clear of the bottom three and leave Rotherham and Sheffield Wednesday facing a real uphill task to try and get out of trouble.

Still no clear opportunities in West Yorkshire.

Chef G: At least Boro are still scoring goals - just at the wrong end!

Middlesbrough have scored at least one goal in their past seven matches. Can they find a leveller in the Midlands?

    The Bluebirds lead!

Joe Bennett slides in a lovely pass for Leandro Bacuna to fire home the opener.

That's the former Aston Villa man's first goal since November 2019.

  6. CLOSE!published at 19:24 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2021

    Coventry 1-0 Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough are growing into this game after Coventry's early goal.

Djed Spence does well out wide before cutting the ball back to Neeskens Kebano.

The forward's strike looks goal-bound but it's well blocked by Coventry defender Michael Rose.

Nottingham Forest were six minutes away from their first win away at rivals Derby since January 2015 last Friday.

And despite Colin Kazim-Richards' late leveller for the Rams, Forest are in fine form, having lost just one of their past seven games.

Chris Hughton's side host a Luton team who have been a bit up and down lately.

With two wins, two losses and one draw from their past five fixtures, the Hatters are comfortably midtable. Nathan Jones will hope his side can start rising up the table again with a victory tonight.

    Millwall 0-1 Preston

That Ched Evans strike is the only shot of the game so far.

But what a shot it was.

We're back to a scrappy midfield battle at The Den.

    Cardiff 0-0 Derby

Another chance for the hosts. Another chance for Kieffer Moore.

The big striker gets on the end of Perry Ng's cross but can only send his header past the post.

The Bluebirds will go back into the top six with a victory tonight.

No early goalmouth action at the John Smith's Stadium.

Home defender Richard Stearman had to have some treatment after he was caught by Blues counterpart Harlee Dean and the Birmingham centre-back has been booked.

Who is your surprise package for a late play-off charge?

Joe Nealon: Coventry have got a really nice run of games coming up so they would be my surprise package.

Simon Atkins: Whilst I was, and still am to a degree, wanting Karanka to be sacked, 6 points out of a possible 9 from our last 3 games, with the loss being against the runaway leaders, I am starting to feel SLIGHTLY more hopeful of survival.

To be clear, Joe sent this before the Sky Blues scored!

    GOAL OF THE SEASON!

Simple long ball forward is headed away but only as far as Ched Evans.

And what a strike by the Preston man, volleying the ball as it looped into his path.

Think Zidane in the Champions League final.

  16. goal

GOAL: Coventry 1-0 Middlesbroughpublished at 19:12 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2021

Anfernee Dijksteel (Own goal 11 mins)

A Sam McCallum long throw is flicked on and defender Anfernee Dijksteel is caught in no man's land with forward Maxime Biamou breathing down his neck.

He can't get his feet sorted and taps it into his own net.

    Not great that.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:11 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March 2021

    Coventry 0-0 Middlesbrough

Good goalkeeping from Boro's Marcus Bettinelli.

The stopper dives at Maxime Biamou's feet to pinch the ball off the Coventry attacker who was looking to get in behind.

    Brave.

No early chances to report in Wales.

    Ooof, nice start from Coventry.

Sam McCallum very nearly gets to a wicked cross at the back post.

All Sky Blues right now in this one.
