Watford are riding high at the minute and sit in second in the Championship ahead of facing struggling Birmingham today.

Lee Bowyer capped off his first game as Blues boss with victory over Reading in midweek after Aitor Karanka's sacking by the club.

However, Watford have lost only one of their past 10 games in the Championship, with Birmingham not exactly free scoring at the minute, having not scored more than twice in their past 25 away league games.

QPR pulled off a fine comeback victory against Millwall in midweek and they travel to Reading today with the hosts looking to affirm their position in the top six.

The Rs away form since the turn of the year has been much improved on a pretty lacklustre 2020.

So far this year, they have won four times on their travels in the Championship, which is one more win than the three they registered in the entirety of 2020.

Can they keep that form going today or will Reading end a run of two games without victory?

They take on Blackburn today with Rovers having a torrid time on their travels to Carrow Road.

Today's visitors haven't won there in the league since August 1999, yet it's likely there will be a winner today and not a stalemate.

None of Rovers' past 10 away league games have finished up in a draw. Expect a healthy contest today then.

Bristol City come into this match against Rotherham having won four of their past six league games at home against the Millers.

However, Rotherham won against the Robins earlier this season and if they win today, they will have pulled off a league double against the Robins for the first time since 2013-14.

That aside, the struggling visitors will be without boss Paul Warne, who is isolating after the club recorded 25 positive Covid-19 cases.

Can the Millers get back on track or will Bristol City bolster their position in midtable?

It's a South Yorkshire derby and Barnsley received some good news in the run up to their fixture against struggling Sheffield Wednesday.

Captain Alex Mowatt was sent off in the midweek win over Wycombe and had faced a three-match ban.

However, that red was overturned meaning he's eligible to face the Owls as Barnsley aim to extend their unbeaten Championship run to 11 games.

And they look set to do it, with Wednesday's recent record not looking too good. They have won just once in their past 15 away league games and have lost their last five on the bounce on their travels.
