Newcastle 2-0 West Ham
As a Spurs fan, I'd love to see Saint-Maximin play for us. Direct, dangerous and positive. Like Lamela but with an end product.

Joelinton
Another absolute howler!
This time West Ham keeper Lukasz Fabianski - under no real pressure - fluffs a simple catch from a corner and drops the ball into the path of Joelinton, who taps into an empty net.
Newcastle 1-0 West Ham
West Ham have a corner and Newcastle break at pace but Vladimir Coufal does well to block Jacob Murphy's cross.

Craig Dawson took a heavy touch and Allan Saint-Maximin all of a sudden was breaking.
I think Newcastle have deserved it. There seems to be a good spirit about them and they thoroughly deserve to be in front.
Newcastle 1-0 West Ham
West Ham defender Craig Dawson is sent off.
He hacks someone down in midfield as the ball deflects into the path of Allan Saint-Maximin for that goal.
The referee lets play go on, Newcastle score and then he comes back to show Dawson a second yellow.
It can't get any worse, West Ham fans are thinking...
Issa Diop own goal
Newcastle lead. Allan Saint-Maximin latches onto a loose ball in midfield and runs into the box before hitting a low shot.
Issa Diop and Lukasz Fabianski get in each other's way and manage to put the ball in their own net between them. Diop gets the own goal.
Newcastle 0-0 West Ham
Newcastle have kept only one clean sheet in their last 19 Premier League home fixtures, in a 0-0 draw against Liverpool on 30 December.
Newcastle 0-0 West Ham
There's a break in play of almost two minutes while Newcastle defender Federico Fernandez changes his boots.
Newcastle 0-0 West Ham
West Ham have put in a few crosses in recent minutes and Pablo Fornals' swinging volley from their latest cross flies wide.

Newcastle have done their homework. West Ham’s passing hasn’t been as crisp as it should have been, but all of a sudden they’ve started switching the play and using both flanks.
At the moment the game’s in the balance, but Newcastle have had the better chances.
Newcastle 0-0 West Ham
This isn't a classic. Defences on top.
Newcastle 0-0 West Ham
West Ham have only their second shot of the game (Newcastle have had seven) as Jarrod Bowen cuts in and hits an effort which is blocked well by Jonjo Shelvey.

AdrenALI_N: West Ham have recently shown a lack of concentration as games have progressed. 3-3 with Arsenal and 3-2 wins over Wolves and Leicester City had West Ham 3-0 up in each. Is this a worrying sign they need to work on or happy days of plentiful goalscoring?
Bit worried as a WH fan. We're usually 3-0 up by now!

It's that guy Allan Saint-Maximin again. He gets the ball near the centre circle, beats a couple of defenders and has a shot blocked by Craig Dawson.

Allan Saint-Maximin just comes alive with these brilliant bursts that he has. Miguel Almiron has looked really sharp and bright as well.
West Ham’s only opportunity has come from a set-play. There’s no doubt Newcastle have made a brighter start.
Newcastle 0-0 West Ham
Allan Saint-Maximin = livewire.
West Ham half-clear a cross straight to ASM, who plays a one-two with a team-mate before drilling in a 20-yard effort. Decent save.
Newcastle 0-0 West Ham
The free-kick is clipped into the box and Craig Dawson heads straight at Martin Dubravka.
Newcastle 0-0 West Ham
Needless yellow card for Newcastle captain Jonjo Shelvey as he brings down Jarrod Bowen with no real need.
