    My word!

A Liam Kelly shot falls to Callum O'Hare in the Rotherham area but his dinked effort is smothered by Millers keeper Viktor Johansson.

Matty Godden sends the rebound over the bar when he really should hit the target.

Will Coventry live to regret these missed chances?

    Rotherham 0-0 Coventry

A deep free-kick from Sam McCallum is flicked on by a Rotherham head and visiting defender Kyle McFadzean is able to get a shot off but it's well wide.

    Rotherham 0-0 Coventry

That really was an incredible save from Viktor Johansson for Rotherham a couple of minutes ago.

It would have been a dream start for the visitors if that Liam Kelly volley had gone in.

The Sky Blues have settled the quicker here.

    Rotherham 0-0 Coventry

What a save from Viktor Johnasson in the home goal!

Liam Kelly's 20-yard volley is dipping in but the big Swede makes a stunning stop to flick it on to the crossbar. Wow.

Coventry cruised to a 3-1 win over Rotherham back in December.

Early goals from Maxime Biamou and Tyler Walker put them in charge before a Michael Smith own goal in the second half put the game beyond the Millers meaning Daniel Barlaser's late penalty was only a consolation.

The Millers will be hoping that tonight's game is more like the last time they welcomed the Sky Blues to the New York Stadium back in October 2019 when doubles from Smith and Matt Crooks saw them run out 4-0 winners.

This is Rotherham's third game since Saturday, with another to come against Birmingham on Sunday.

A number of postponements because of an outbreak of coronavirus means the Millers will still have two games in hand on most of the teams around them even after tonight's match.

They followed up a draw at Huddersfield with a 3-1 win over QPR on Tuesday and boss Paul Warne said it's a run of games that is taking it out of the staff as well as the players.

"The win over QPR was important because it might have made a few teams above us think that they're not that safe," Warne told BBC Radio Sheffield:

"The players know the importance of every game, every tackle, every run and every header."

He added: "It's exhausting because you never sleep after a game but you normally have a day off the day after a match, that's not the case this week."

  8. Team newspublished at 18:48 British Summer Time 15 April 2021

Perhaps unsurprisingly given their hectic schedule, Rotherham make five changes to the team that started the 3-1 win over QPR on Tuesday, with Michael Ihiekwe, Richard Wood, Jamie Lindsay, Michael Smith and Lewis Wing coming in.

Coventry have made three alterations to the team that started their 4-1 defeat at Bournemouth on Saturday, with Ben Wilson replacing Marko Marosi in goal.

Rotherham XI: Johansson, Olosunde, Ihiekwe, Wood, Angus MacDonald, Harding, Lindsay, Wiles, Wing, Crooks, Smith.

Subs: Blackman, Giles, Shaun MacDonald, Barlaser, Ogbene, Sadlier, Hirst, Ladapo.

Coventry XI: Wilson, Ostigard, McFadzean, Hyam, Dacosta, James, Kelly, McCallum, O’Hare, Godden, Walker.

Subs: Marosi, Rose, Eccles, Allen, Shipley, Hamer, Biamou, Gyokeres, Bakayoko.

    Championship tableImage source, BBC Sport

With Norwich and Watford looking very much set to win promotion straight back to the Premier League it could be argued that the bottom of the Championship is where the real end-of-season drama is going to come.

To that end, we've got, arguably, the biggest game of the season so far for you this evening.

Rotherham could climb out of the relegation zone for the first time since 20 February if they beat Coventry, who will slip into the bottom three if they lose.

However, a win for the Sky Blues would see them go six points clear of trouble and potentially as high as 18th in the table.

    Let's get to it.
