And we've had plenty of heart-stopping - and heartbreaking - moments tonight.

Brentford winger Sergi Canos told Sky Sports:

"It was difficult. They play with their heart and I think we did well.

"We want to win every game and go into the play-offs with a good feeling. It is important for our confidence and the group.

"Everyone is playing their part and we can't wait for the play-offs now.

"We wanted to fight for automatic promotion but Norwich and Watford are very good teams."

"We should have put the game to bed so in general I am proud of the boys.

"We need all the players to have confidence, but especially the offensive players. Bryan is moving towards that and has showed again why he is a good player."

• Elsewhere, Lincoln move up to third after a 1-0 win at Shrewsbury, while Sunderland lose against play-off rivals Blackpool.
• Portsmouth move into the top six despite conceding a 95th-minute equaliser at Accrington, as the game ends 3-3.
• Rochdale concede a 97th-minute equaliser at AFC Wimbledon as a 3-3 draw leaves Dale four points from safety, while the Dons need one more point to stay up

Taylor Richards has just had two big chances but Posh keeper Josef Bursik gets down well to twice deny the forward.

Rotherham boss Paul Warne has been speaking to Sky Sports after their defeat at Brentford.

A fifth loss in a row has left the Millers needing other results to go their way to stay in the Championship:

"We started well and then the first time Brentford put a decent ball in the box they scored.

"Our second half performance was a lot better. I can't knock my team's effort and they are desperate to stay up.

"We needed to come and get something. We need to pick them up again for Saturday.

"Unfortunately this year we have lost 19 games by one goal. It is so frustrating and I don't know what more to say.

"We went toe-to-toe as much as we could but Brentford have that bit of quality. Unfortunately we didn't have enough."
