    The away side come close to a second just before the break as Devante Cole controls a throw in in the box before turning and guiding a volley just wide of the top-right corner.

    But as the half-time whistle blows, the bottom-of-the-league home side are in trouble after Ronan Hughes' red card just after the half-hour mark was quickly followed by Mark O'Hara's opener.

    Perhaps unsurprisingly, with the title wrapped up and games coming thick and fast, Steven Gerrard has heavily shuffled his Rangers deck for tonight's trip to Perth.

    Captain James Tavernier makes his injury comeback, playing for the first time since 18 February in one of seven changes from the win over Celtic.

    In come Jon McLaughlin, Jack Simpson, Ianis Hagi, Scott Wright, Cedric Itten and Kemar Roofe.
