Just as I write that, Eberechi Eze skins someone on the left, cuts inside, uses the run of Wilfried Zaha as a decoy but fires wide of the far post. Decent effort!

The Sheffield United players look to have been in shock since Chris Wilder left, he was the one who always fronted up win, lose or draw.

You thought he may stay around like Daniel Farke at Norwich, but he’s left, we don’t know if he was pushed. But they need to start again and the sooner they appoint a new manager the better.

It’s tough on the players to keep going, it’s been an awful season. They were quite magnificent last year but they will want to forget this one quickly.
